f a c t : before this they were arguing in a limo about who would go out first because they were nervous that nobody would know them and they all told V to go out first and he refused Bc he didn’t think people knew him and they said “the best looking guy has to go out first” and Jimin said “ok I’m getting out first”

Their debut performance in a US award show with no smokes, no backup dancersssssssss JUST PURE TALENT.

In their bangtantv episode about this event, they showed a rehearsal where Jimin was like “the camerawork seems really disorganized” and the boys were talking about how they didn’t know where to perform to because the camera was all over the place. And well... they were right. The camera work is absolute chaos and really doesn’t do the performance justice at all. But still proud of the boys!

The people saying they lipsynced during this honestly must be deaf. Yoongis and Namjoons mics cut out multiple times, and you could hear them, not a backing track but, haters gon hate, players gon play

Anyone else think Korean tv cameramen are better

It is surreal for me to watch this performance knowing I was in the room with BTS and ARMY on this night. I still remember the energy of the crowd. I still remember seeing the members walk into the theatre. I remember my parents standing next to me screaming those fanchants at the top of their lungs with me. The person who made it possible for us to be there, my mother, passed away last year. I watch this and think of her and how beautiful the night was. I still have a photo of me and both my parents from this night. I can't believe five years have come and gone. I can't believe how much has changed since then. But I am so happy and proud to be a fan of BTS. They are a once in a lifetime sort of group, and I'm so happy I was able to be part of a little piece of their journey. November 19th, 2017 was one of the most beautiful nights of my life, and I pray that I'll be able to meet these extraordinary men someday. And I cherish the memories their music helped create, especially those involving my mom. I miss her so much, but I know she's watching over me and she's watching over Seokjin, Namjoon, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook too. She loved all of them just as I do. They'll always be special to me. God bless BTS always. 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜

To anyone saying they are disappointed in the fanchants: PLEASE watch the fancams! They were so so loud! They were just muted on TV because otherwise you wouldn't have heard the song! And the illusion of delay in the chanting is due to the size of the arena, ARMYs didn't do it wrong! They were so amazing and passionate! THANK YOU SO MUCH to all ARMYs at the venue!! YOU DID SO GREAT!!!!
