Find out how BTS moved one step closer to justice! Busan's mayor sent a proposal to President Yoon Suk-yeol to allow the BTS members to fulfill their military service through their roles as PR Ambassadors for Busan's application to host the World Expo 2030. Remember, the bid has not been secured and the Busan mayor seems to think competition is heating up between Korea, Saudi Arabia and Italy. He really needs BTS and the Army on his side.

This is why Jimin said at the dinner in June, that we don’t know what is going on behind the scenes and there are things they can’t talk about. It all makes sense now. I believe they had a full album ready for their comeback, but only released 3 new songs. I truly believe they wanted to tour, but BH or Hybe, pulled them out because they wanted the president of S Korea to see the impact that they hold. Yes to the Mayor of Busan, hopefully this will happen. Because the government can’t have their cake and eat it too!

@kai60 , I wondered whether HYBE (or BTS themselves) pulling them back and watching the stock price plummet wasn't a power move, but I also recently read that there's a law about not being able to leave the country within 6 (?) months of your military service. That would definitely be an issue for Jin and Suga if BTS toured. (It could also be part of the timing of J-Hope's solo concert.) I'm not even sure they'd be permitted to perform at the VMAs in person if they wanted to. Somewhere in that discussion something was mentioned about laws in Korea having a 6-month buffer period or something, so a new law wouldn't apply to Jin and Suga if it hadn't been passed by a month or two ago, anyway. 🤔❓

I think you're "on point"! so many pieces of the puzzle seem to now be falling into place about BTS solo projects, not touring and pending military service. I'm in USA but still praying for a miracle and military exemption. BTS cannot be expected to be in the military, AND be expected to tour and perform when they need them.

Thank you for the link to the petition. I signed and made small $10 contribution. I hope this succeeds because I do not want to see BTS subjected to harsh treatment and curiosity of other miltary guys they might be put with. They are too valuable as human beings, too talented to be dragged away from their careers, and too gentle natured to have to tolerate cruel and humiliating embarrassments by any mean spirited fellow miltary people. I think they might be targeted out of jealously because of their global success. Please keep them safe, let them serve their country in a safe and beneficial way for South Korea. Regards from New Zealand. 😁👍💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

They need to learn that they can't have it both ways, Bts aren't robots or products they can use however they like. I get that military service is important but the boys are seriously making a huge difference around the world and not just in Korea. In my opinion, they're doing a lot more good than any artist I had ever liked in the past and they deserve to be recognized and appreciated for that. I hope the government will see things from our point of view and let the boys continue to make an impact on the world and not just in Korea. Wishing them the best.

I feel bad, this is literally out of their hands and are forced to do something they might not want to. Maybe they are like I rather go to the military and be done in 18 months. What happens if they do this and they don't get the bid? This must be nerve-racking for them.

just an addition to this, and touching on something said in the video: Don't they think that BTS has already been doing 'alternative service', for years now? (Just two small notes: The UN assembly, twice. Global ambassadors for over a year now.) And not once have they ever complained or objected to their military service requirement, but given all the money they've brought into South Korea, it should be (in my humble opinion) a just reward at this point.

I agree with your points. Alternate service for BTS benefits everyone in the long run. Ambassador duties in the public eye are better than the members getting privately bullied and degraded in the military. It would also be a nightmare for military officials to deal with maintaining BTS’s safety and warding off sasaengs. Imagine ARMY’s uproar if pictures of members in the military are leaked, or if the members wrote songs about being abused in the military. That would lead to loss on tourism, exports, and soft power. With alternate service, SK Govt wouldn’t technically exempt BTS, so this isn’t preferential treatment since ambassador duties are a job. I do think that bullying in the military needs to be addressed on a global scale because there’s a lot of toxic behavior in all military environments. But for the current state of optics in SK, this is the best path for everyone.

ARMY WAKE UP!!! BTS is a national jewel that has been utilized as a commodity. Let them serve as they always have. Military is not the only way to serve your country when so much as been done for the country BTS has done a lot for ARMY. They are stuck in the middle of politics, Hybe, and citizens of Korea, which 60% have no problem with exemption. We always refer to BTS as extraordinary, not just a kpop band. They have served in many ways to represent their country worldwide. I don't know many who can name anyone in exemption categories on the books right now. They are Ambassadors is that not service? They have been our voice and comfort for many years and have no voice for themselves. I saw it and felt it watching Festa 2022. They are in a position they cannot truly have a voice. It's what they didn't say that reveals the truth💜

I think BTS should just join the army and serve the country just like any other random person! In front line, the enemy really doesn't care who you are! BTS is really not more than a citizen/person with a normal job! A life is a life! Rich or poor in the military doesn't matter! Just serve your country as it is required of every citizen there!!! If they will not serve the country and not go into the army they will lose a lot of respect from people/armys anyway!! Many Fans of BTS are forced to join the military and serve their country and have no choice either! I don't want to hear any political advice from BTS or their opinion as they haven't learned for it!! The advantage of if you now serve your country that when war breaks out you no longer have to join the army and you have to defend your country in the front line because you have already completed your service ! If they don't go into the army now and war breaks out, they will be put in the front line! I'm a fan of BTS but I really think they should join the army as the law prescribes there! As Other people, ordinary citizens does / need to do this aswel! Fair is fair no matter who they are and what they do. Let's be honest! A life is a Life!!! Money doesnt matter in battle but your reputation and ego will matter!

My point is make a decision and stop the dangling the carrot I've been a kpop/kdrama fan for years and have seen several I loved before there was BTS that served. I've had family drafted and friends that had to serve in their countries. My comment was not personal. My comment was based on the situation and circumstances why they haven't enlisted. They don't seem to have control of this decision. Whether it's their company or, and politicians, which by the way were the ones that first mentioned exemption. No, it should not be based on money. There are categories exempted based on representing the country worldwide. Korea has not had this situation before. They are now a commodity financially and politically. Either they go or don't can not have it both ways. If they will not exempt them enlist them. Why haven't they done it? Therefore based on what I have seen on Korean news it seems to be money and politics BTS is stuck in the middle 60% Koreans agree. Again not my personal opinion, but based in what's been presented.

@@joliesbudgetjourney How are you going to say Army will no resect them if they don't go? You're not even remotely speaking for the bulk of us. Many people who have contributed to SK as a country have been given exemption- BTS has done more for SK than pretty much any of those people and at this point the SK government is very much aware of that. You're really going to sit there an tell me the average SK citizen brings in a significant percentage of the country's gdp? In 2020 they were contributing $3.5 billion annually to the nation's economy, they have spread Korean culture and language across the globe in a way that has never before been seen and in 2019 alone they brought 796,000 foreigners to SK. They literally make as much money for the country as major companies like Samsung and Hyundai, in addition to furthering SK culture globally. No one wants their exemption because they're rich, no one wants them to have special treatment because they're famous. The fact of the matter is that they have more than paid their dues, they have gone beyond serving their country. They never stop giving, they've done enough. As Army, we have always fought for BTS, for the fair treatment and representation they deserve but never get. Instead of enabling the archaic status quo of societies and governments around the world, we should be standing up to them.

@@BoraBlooded it's not about whether they got people to korea as in tourists! It's about them. CITIZEN'S DUTY is to join the military just like any other civilian born there! They have already lost a lot of fans and that has already been proven in numbers! So don't be stupid now! And it's not about how much money they brought into the country, it's about their birthright to join the military! So because they ensured that the country made money, have they already done their duty? Are you that crazy or something? Money has nothing to do with this! people with other jobs also bring money to the country there are several jobs that provide good income for korea but ok those people are called up to join the army when it's their time! Regarding the military service I think it is okay for them to have some sort of exemption or alternate service because they have done a lot diplomatically for South Korea and are not just pop artists. I understand when people say they are worried that it creates a precedent that music artists can get exempted from military service, but they are not like any past (and probably any future) Kpop groups in terms of their diplomatic and political involvement. Also, in terms of soft power it would be more beneficial for the government to keep a positive image on the international stage. They really need an exemption. I know South Korea still needs all the help it can get but bts is being squeezed like a lemon and all of them are tired and honestly, I’m worried about them at this point. If this was solved long ago, I bet they would have gone to the Military with no problem. I think the real reason some Armys don’t want them to go there is more because they are vulnerable . So, BTS going to the Military Service for them, it would be as if their ground would disappear. I think they understand why they have to go but they just don't want to let them go. As for me, I understand and I'd have no problem with it. However, they are tired and getting into something that would stress them out even more than they already are is not good for them. They took a break to escape stress but somehow stress doesn't want to let go of them even when they are on a break. Stress can kill too… You know, at this point I ask: What have they done to deserve so much pressure? I mean, everyone gets stressed but this??? This is torture!

there's nothing good about them going to military service! Do you know the horrors that live there!?? Do you know that it is a huge physical wear and many say that they have bad knees from everything they make them do and march!? Imagine that they are artists who come from their body and where they are injured or have a mishap they will not be able to do what they did! And not to mention not rehearsing or dancing for a year and a half is a lot! and the emotional trauma that they are going to experience is going to take away all the Joy they have! Haven't you heard testimonials from other very famous idols in Korea how bad they had it?? Taemin had to be transferred due to panic attacks, severe depression and because the other recruits were bullying him. gdragon suffered all kinds of things too and another from exo told that he even wanted to commit suicide! the survey gave 61% in favor of the exemption and that was enough! it was more than half. obviously you can't expect ALL people to be in favor because men in general in Korea don't like kpop and even more so if they serve in the army they will ask others to do it, it's obvious

BTS is being used and HYBE should have only signed if they got a guarantee. They r pulling them like puppets and it’s very frustrating.

It's always interesting to listen to your words. Your explanations and analyzes of different situations are so interesting and accurate (perhaps because I usually agree with you). Even here in Israel, where military service is mandatory at the age of 18 for boys and girls (boys for 2 years and 8 months and girls for 2 years) there are other options for those who for such reasons or others do not enlist. Here is called "national service" and in it those who do not enlist in the army can volunteer, for example, to serve in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, boarding schools, etc. for a minimum of one year (to receive benefits from the state in the future similar to veterans) and up to two years. I have already written the my opinion about the recruitment of BTS after your broadcast on the petition which of course I signed. This saga continues and continues because no politician is brave enough to make the decision. How long can they discuss and debate and think? Now is the time to decide before Jin's recruitment date. Thank you again for a very interesting channel. 💜💜

@OwnedByKitties
@OwnedByKitties 2 года назад
This would be fair and least taxing on the boys. They get the training just in case things get hot with NK, then they are released to continue being ambassadors for their country. This idea of doing military duty & concerts is ridiculous (not only too taxing but considering Psy was penalized for promoting his music during his first conscription & then had to redo his service because of it). I don’t know what they have in mind for “alternative service”, I just hope it’s not unreasonable.

I just hope that this new deal will not " enslave" BTS by continuous favors to asked from them because " we helped you out of the military , so now you need to jump as high as we say so".. If this deal is too vague and does not contains exactly what they are supposed to do, their life could become misarable until 2030. This is a dangerous situation. The more clearcut solution would be a few months of service only, maximum 4 months, so they are trained what to do in case if it is needed and then get out of there. It is waste of time to " grill" young men for almost 2 years anyway, though the training could be done much faster and intense, so nobodies time would get wasted. I am just concerning that BTS would be used by these politicians left and right after they get this alternative examption.
@gatepromise

They would be a giant security risk, since the entire world knows who they are. I like the possible alternative suggested here. There would have to be a duration limit attached (3 years suggested). This alternative service is not that unusual in SK. Sean gave examples, like firefighters and police officers. It might be the best possible alternative. The group could still perform, record, and tour internationally, and have specific times during the year they’d be expected to diplomatic envoys.

@@sunshinepolicy7863 You are totally right! In so many ways BTS can be "trapped" by these deals! There are too many aspects to it. I am sure that the best would be if BTS was asked what they want to do and the Company should be able to push it through at the government. I think we cannot make everybody happy here because this is a complex subject but BTS has a kind of power that none of the artists could achieve so far except them. My ideal solution would be : The government should announce the examption of BTS and an immediate review and reform of the military service how to make it more safe and efficient, so the service time can be reduced to half or less than it is now. The idea of reforming and bettering the military service time would be very popular amongs citizens, I believe and this would be also one of BTS's achievements that they started this movement to reform the military service, to help young fellows of Korea.

The S. Korean government seems perfectly happy to keep kicking the issue of military service down the road, because they know whatever decision they make will piss people off. If they require BTS to serve in the military, millions of fans will be angry at them for, effectively, breaking up the band. If they exempt BTS from military service, a lot of Korean traditionalist will be upset, because they believe military service should be mandatory, no matter how rich or famous you are. I don't think there will be an official decision anytime soon.

I laughed at the realness of your statement "parading them around like show ponies at the state fair." It's so true! I think you really hit on the fact that the members have been used more like commodities that you trade off and pass around as needed. (Whether you intended to make that point or not, it's definitely true.) I question though, has anyone asked the members directly what they want to do with this whole military service scenario? An alternative type of service like this sounds great politically and economically and it's especially good for PR stuff, but it takes BTS away from the entertainment and music industry which is really what they're supposed to be doing, like that's their "main gig." Being ambassadors for the world expo bid is great, and I have no doubt they would support being ambassadors, especially since at least two of their members are from Busan. But political leaders can't forget that being a part of all this other stuff, means that there's no new music coming out for the group, no new world tours, no new concerts, nothing new for the group BTS being held while all of this alternative service is going on. And that part right there will ultimately hurt BTS's value on a global scale. Perhaps it won't hurt nationally in Korea, but the rest of the world isn't going to be as involved in this world expo bid or in the national PR campaign stuff. Global fans aren't as in the loop with this as much as Korean fans are. This doesn't mean their fan base will diminish, but are political leaders willing to take that risk in the long run?

I’m sorry, I didn’t look at the petition. (i didn’t realize it was appropriate for foreigners to weigh in, but you addressed that in this video) I have the unpopular opinion that Korea needs as many people trained in the military as possible. An American, Korean Wãr era veteran estimated that the US lost 3 men for every Korean who survived. We didn’t win the war, but we fought hard for your survival. the cee cee pee seems to stay ready to be the n m e. I just hope enough young Korean men take the threat seriously.and are ready in case they need to step up. We 🇺🇸 still have entertainers give to our armed services by performing at war fronts. Comedienne Kathleen Madigan has some great material about her trip to Afghanistan. Your hope that BTS can perform some ceremonial? duties sounds sensible. My concern is that your Pres. isn’t looking for a solution. It’s as if he’s either waiting for it to matter to him (a favor or a billions of favors?), or he’s hoping to procrastinate until the members have to go by current law, so that he doesn’t get blamed for a wrong decision.

I’m going to preface this by saying I don’t live in SK so I don’t have any personal anecdotes, just what I’ve heard. They do have medical exemptions, but I’ve heard you’ve got to be in pretty bad shape to get it. If you can’t do military duty because of physical issues, they can offer alternative service that wouldn’t be physically strenuous. I don’t know for a fact if Jin has had his physical to determine eligibility for it done yet, but I have heard the oldest ones have (but take that with a grain of salt too). Hopefully this won’t even matter & if they are given “alternate service”, it’s not going to tax them too much (like the ridiculous suggestion of doing military service AND concerts simultaneously).

BTS members wouldn't have to enlist 1 by 1, ARMY wouldn't have to wait 5-6 yrs for OT7 concerts, and the SK population would view BTS as honoring their national duties. I wrote this comment for your video about the BTS concert in Busan, but did someone "flag" it or why did it disappear immidiately after I sent it - actually few times in a row..?? I am trying to post it here in stead, but it is about the concert: In Finland every year for decades there have been huge music festivals arranged each summer which are held outside - outside the cities usually by the beach area - in places quite like you showed there. Thousands of people walk several kilometers (on sandroads) to get there and there is no problem. Also there are loads of removable toilets. This summer one of the biggest festivals had about 105 000 guests for the happening that lasted 3 days. Some people stayed at the area the whole weekend sleeping in tents, some travelled by foot and part of the way by bus to the city and back to sleep. This is totally possibe to arrange, if they know how to do it! If you want to get an idea what I mean, find in the net "Ruisrock" and check the pictures.. 😊 The only thing that wonders me are the chairs.. Why do you need chairs?? It is not a classical consert.. Will people really want to sit there??

Old bureaucrats are way past jealousy. (The internet seems to think everything is about jealousy. 🤨) This is all about power, politics, and manipulation. They see how much power BTS and ARMY have and they want to use that for their own benefit but they don't want to take any risks or earn those benefits by doing something in return. They want to use BTS like they are objects without consideration to their health, desires, or welfare. They also don't want to get on the bad side of the voters or other politicians. It's a tightrope wire of treating BTS like a powerful asset & a tool even though they are people with minds of their own and human limits, plus the fact that BTS has already stated what they stand for, and it's not the same things as the current Korean administration. Then there's also the balance that needs to be kept regarding treating people equally and recognizing unusual and outstanding people. A lot of it is just excuses and not wanting to take responsibility. Things are a LOT more complicated than just old men wishing they were young.

I am sure the SK govt is looking at it as BTS should serve and then go back to their careers as if its no big deal. That they (BTS) would pick up where they left off. However I wonder if they (Govt) has thought of the possibility that if they serve in the normal fashion and something happened to one or all of the members (as in injury, trauma, harrassment ect) that one or all members might then decide they cant return to performing due to mental/phy issues. If that or something like that happened, there would be no more BTS, as they have always said its all 7 or no grp. Yes some might go on with their individual music careers but all the money they as a grp bring into SK govt and businesses thru tourism etc would cease to be. In addition SK would take a hit as far as all the good will and teaching the world about SK, its people, customs and what it could offer other countries as far as collabs with SK. This goes without even mentioning the huge hit SK would take with younger generations that now spend money buying SK products which also brings money, jobs etc to SK. I am 63 and know people in my age grp who are planning to go visit SK , they learned of SK from their kids and grandkids because of BTS. Even these older people not ARMYS for the most part (although there are many of us who are), say if BTS is not treated fairly, or if they serve and are not protected from verbal, physical, mental abuse) they will no longer consider going to the country or spending tons on products made there, such as cars, phones, beauty products. And I have heard many say their opinion of SK on the world stage will go down and they will let their senators/congressmen know they dont wish them to vote for pro SK items unless it is to help the SK people, not the govt. I am a nobody who just listens alot and knows alot of people here in the US who are paying close attention to all of this.

They are at their best and they cut everything with the army! many people say that they got bad knees from everything they make them do and march! 💔 Imagine that they ruin their lives and careers! Hibe's letter in October seemed very false to me! who is going to want to leave everything they have and the music that is their happiness to go to a barracks where they are treated like garbage!? And they can get injured and suffer all kinds of psychological traumas in an environment of constant violence!!?

the problem is that it comes with a price and no-one will ever forgive them for it. They won't care (or worse, they'll resent it especially for it) if they get this deal done cause the president+Busan bffs wanted it. It's extremely humiliating, not to mention Busan may not get that spot as world expo in 2030 and who d'ya think is gonna be blamed for it? No! fck it, I really hope they don't get anything through the Busan expo organization nor govt. It's sad and pathetic and Bangtan deserves better than this sht.

Howdy, sir! Here I am again. Taking a break from K-Dramas. Have been busy watching Taxi Driver's main actor Lee Je Hoon's dramas - Move to Heaven and Where The Stars Land. Man, Lee Je Hoon is one heck of an actor! The mayor of Busan deserves a handshake and a hug for putting forth his proposal to President Yoon. He knows the importance of the Busan Expo and the important roles the BTS members have to carry out in their capacity as PR Ambassadors for Busan. Let's hope President Yoon looks into this matter and expedites his decision about this alternative military service proposal. In my opinion, this proposal by the Busan mayor is a win-win situation for all parties ( Busan government, South Korean government, BTS members, the people of South Korea and South Korea herself ) involved. Imagine the boost in both the economy and the country's cultural influence. More tourists will be visiting South Korea. To be honest, some politicians have ears that do not listen and eyes that do not see. Many a time politicians only open their eyes and ears when their jobs are on the line. That's how I feel. I stand corrected though.

Laws are bound to be ammended in a given time. The revision doesn't only upheld BTS but the POP CULTURE sector as a whole. The law is more than BTS but a social change regarding the demand of the times. I don't know why they are not seeing the side of this issue. They only focus on BTS as somewhat it will be a privilege than a recognition of the sector they are representing for and that is POP Culture. Its sad to witness that South Korea with their emergence of soft power as no. 1 contributor to mobilize their military defense cannot see the side of this story.

Apart from that BTS debate, 36 month!? Who came up with the great idea to pull out young people for so long out of their lives in a country struggling with people not getting enough kids? If anything, they should reform the whole military sector and make the service shorter in general, have new strategies. Such a long time is not needed. In this technicized world you need absolute pros and the right equipment and people to support these that are trained faster but can be called in at any time, naybe refreshing stuff in short courses from time to time to have a reserve ready to go. The whole debate seems so artificial to me. If North Korea wants to nuke South Korea, even a 5 year service will not help, and 7 additional man will not help either. And I don't know for South Korean military service, but from my fathers account in Polish military, which was 2 years back then, and from my friends accounts in German military which was around 12 month back then, a lot of their time was waiting and basically wasting time anyway just lazing around.

I’m seeing this more and more (not giving Korea more money if this doesn’t come to a satisfactory conclusion). I don’t know how big of an impact that will have, but maybe enough to hurt based on how many I’ve seen. Just have to hope they will appreciate what they’ve got in BTS and if not a full exemption, a compromise that will be fair.

BTS lifted SK from BK (bankruptcy) because of the billions of dollars they brought in to the country. If there is no OT7, this money will dwindle. The money BTS brings could actually improve their military defense by increasing their budget and strengthen their resources but of course I’m praying against war.

BTS has contributed to South Korea's economy, but to claim that they lifted them out of BANKRUPTCY is likely a stretch... South Korea has quite a few big companies to bring in income...they're not completely reliant on BTS...

That's good news! I'm still praying for the complete exemption because it would be the most fair response to all things BTS has already done for Korea, but an alternative service (depending on what it is) can also be positive. I'm pretty sure the boys want to Tour and be back on stages and visiting armys all around the world, but they won't tour with missing members. They feel it every time one of them is just injured and can't perform 100% with the group. So i'm sure they wouldn't tour if it's not the 7. I feel like they really wanna keep going, but they have so much to deal right now :( and i totally hate that they are being used and will have to do a lot of work, that doesn't even make sense to make celebrities do. They always wanted to do just music and to be with the fans. I really hope things get better for them! I signed the petition and shared it!! I hope it get even more signatures and makes a lot of noise!! Another thing: Do you know if there is already a date to BTS concert in Busan? I haven't seen any news about it.

Here is the thing, If they want to serve the military or the alternative, it should be up to them for their option. The part that irks me is that their government are going to expect them to work as Kpop members as well, while they have to serve as if they were robots. I said it once and I will say it again, when they serve, they better not expect them to do their work as well. They except BTS to give them everything, but they are not willing to reciprocate the same appreciation towards the members and any future Korean men who does such achievements for their country.

I am enjoying all the thoughtful responses here and learning a lot. As an older American, I can see how BTS appears to be vulnerable to manipulation by the SK government and its institutions. Perhaps if Busan wins the 2030 World Expo, then BTS gets alternative service for it. What initially may have been normal self-promotion and social responsibility such as being ambassadors for Seoul tourism for many years, BTS has crossed the rubicon to becoming “real” ambassadors should Busan win.

Is my understanding correct that doctoral students in South Korea serve a shorter period in the military? If this is true, how come BTS cannot serve a shortened period? I am worried about a 3 year long service that they will use them as puppet. It would be good if the gig was limited to the Busan expo alone.

@@EverRoxas Well, I guess doctoral studies are seen as valuable to the country. I would say for example kpop and kdrama is also valuable to the country. I see a lot of comments that all males should be treated the same, but in fact that does not seem to be the case.

Well,well,the main point here is when many of the economies round the world are tumbling post covid just like the ecosystems and the dearth of water or floods in different parts of the world,isn't it better to take the options available with tge Government to safeguard,or let's say ,preserve the existing thriving economy and add to existing base to make it one of the best in the world!When even a common man with his common sense can see that,I'm sure the dear President of 🇰🇷 can see this as plainly as broad daylight! Secondly, coming to convincing the UN Council regarding Busan being the best venue out of the whole lot of contenders for the Expo,each of the countries can vie for the scenic beauty of the venue but none of the other has BTS and its whole ocean of armies that will just flood Busan for the BTS MEN FIRST and then for the EXPO!THEY EXUDE THAT POWER! Thirdly,talking of power point presentations,the BTS are the tech saviest,coining a new superlative perhaps!,and their presence at the UN is power enough for the POWER POINT PRESENTATION!Just look at the wondrous statistics that logged into the UN site just by their mere presence and RM's speech delivered there!All he has to say is,"I am Kim Namjoon,the leader of the BTS" and the venue will be clinched for Busan! Fourthly,all this talk of the BTS being taken for a ride or being exploited denigrates the fame and existence of BTS.It's because the BTS is,the boost in the economy is!Even the Hybe stocks tumbled when the BTS announced the hiatus! Is all this worth risking,no endangering, by sidetracking the BTS,making them tense over military enlistment?! Dear Mr President of South Korea,the stakes are very high and South Korea can't afford to lose it to the mere views of impartiality, etc.,etc.,etc. It is a preference of impartiality of the national economy over people's views on BTS'S military enlistment ! Those who still raise their voices of dissension are GOING AGAINST NATIONAL PROSPERITY,PROGRESS AND MOST PROBABLY ALSO THEIR CHANCES AGAINST THE ENEMIES OF SOUTH KOREA who would hold still and withhold all their nefarious activities, given the popularity of South Korea once they host the expo!Guess,nothing more has to be explained! The second point is the BTS needs to pool their heads,hearts and souls to think and put out their best in their power point presentations to woo the inspectors to approve of Busan as the venue! You want to bag the expo,Soth Korea,give a free leash to the BTS to present themselves on your behalf!IT'S NOT A CHILD'S PLAY TO PREPARE THE PRESENTATION FOR SUCH A BIG EVENT! So,their military exemption, is inkeeping with the National Prestige and all the positive chances in favour of the country NOT GOING TO WAR! THE BTS IS DEFENDING THEIR NATION BY GOING ALL IN FOR BAGGING THE EXPO VENUE FOR BUSAN! BTS is doing everyone a favour by shouldering the responsibility. So,EXEMPT THEM FROM MILITARY ENLISTMENT! ALL THIS TALK OF IMPARTIALITY IS SECONDARY COMPARED TO NATIONAL PRESTIGE AND BOOSTING THE NATIONAL ECONOMY! SO,EXEMPTION OF THE BTS MUST BE MADE MANDATORY!!
