You won't get yet to come now. Because it's a tribute to their old songs and it has reference from old songs. They have started joining military and second chapter of their life. But music vise it's nicee. Thanks for reacting😊
We don't mind if you pause we'd rather that than have you miss something. We also don't mind long videos. If you don't want to watch official mv's or lives you should watch the color coded lyrics. It'll show you who sings each part. Mv's don't usually get blocked if you play the whole intro part where it shows the big hit label. You should watch: Run BTS by BTS dance practice (look it up just like that because they have another song called run you want the recent one.) BTS room live festa - it's a sampling of their songs debut to 2021. For lyrics if you want to read them look up the song title followed by doolset, doolset has the best translations as they explain references. Watch a guide to BTS members by Taylor. It's long but we will watch with you.
BTS MV s have English Subtitles. You just need to put CC on. It will be better if you watch official MV rather than any fan made videos or colour coded ones
You mentioned that you want to hear their more recent music. As a group their most recent songs are Yet to Come, For Youth, and Run BTS which were released last June. Since then, the members are working on their own projects and fulfilling their mandatory military service. You have probably been given a lot of ways you should do something, or things you "must" watch. Consider them, but go with what feels right for you. ARMYs can be overwhelming at times. We love to experience reactors falling down the rabbit hole. It is very true that we will watch long videos. A couple years ago we watched a simple animation of a cube of butter melting for an hour (Butter Logo Trailer). We understand the need to pause, and most ARMYs prefer that you do, so we can hear your thoughts and comments. If you watch any color coded lyric videos, be aware that there can be some errors in them--mistranslating the lyrics or identifying who is currently singing. When a song drops, the makers are trying to get their version out ASAP. My suggestion would be to watch a few more of their group MVs or live performances so you can start to figure out each of their names and which voice goes to whom. Butter is an all English song, and has a scene where they are in a police line-up holding a board with their name. I think a nice intro to one of their more rap heavy songs is Mic Drop. (They have some really great, IMO better, rap songs, but they have a lot of depth/meaning, so better to save them for a week or two). A short live performance to hear a medley of their songs is Festa 2021 BTS Room Live, also the NPR's Tiny Desk Concert.
I see a lot of comments saying watch BTS Festa Room Live and also NPR Tiny Desk Concert, and just wanted to say yes, those will give you a great little taste of their many styles! Honestly every video of theirs that I have watched has been awesome, I love all their music, and they have a song for pretty much any mood you are in and any genre you are wanting to hear. Borahae!💜💜💜
Thanks for digging into BTS a bit! You can get a little taste of their versatility by watching Festa Room Live. They sing and rap a medley of some of their b-sides. (300+ discography and not a bad one among 'em). Hope you check it out. Looking forward to your next BTS reaction. Subscribed.
70 year old BTS Army here. You really need to watch the official MV or a live performance with English CC. Don't mess with the lyric videos unless there is nothing else available with the English CC. Another thing, please pause when you talk. We do not want you to miss anything and you will miss a lot if you don't pause. Welcome to BTS!
Wow you should check out lyrics WHILE listening to their songs lol. All official MVs have good translations if you turn on CC on the video. I personally would recommend ”RUN BTS” song (just don’t mix it up with the song ”RUN” and their variety show which is also called RUN BTS). I’m suggesting to watch a live performance of ”RUN BTS” from concert in Busan or their dance practice video for this song. Another suggestion - Boy With Love ft. Halsey, official MV. Seriously, their music videos are too good to skip!!!
It doesn't matter how many times you paused the thing you watch or how long are these videos about our boys. Important thing is that you don't miss any point about them. You can pause, rewind, watch more than once or whatever you want. If someone don't like it, they can go and watch the actual video from official channel. We can just recommend you to watch them with subtitles or firstly watch lyric videos, then it's on you. We can watch (and actually watching) more than 3 hours live videos for enjoy with them.
Yet to come is filled with Easter eggs referencing past MVs,so you might not get a lot of them. Come back to this one after a few more months of listening to BTS. Top favourite BTS MVs are usually Mic Drop, ON Kinetic Manifesto, BTS Run dance practice, Black Swan, Idol, Butter, Fake Love, Fire, Dope. They also each have singles
some parts that sing each of them 0:56 Jungkook 1:02 Jimin 1:06 V o Taehyung 1:14 Jin 1:16 Jungkook 1:23 Jin 1:29 V o Taehyung 1:40 Jungkook 1:52 Jin 1:58 Jungkook 2:03 RM o Namjoon 2:09 JHope 2:16 RM 2:50 Suga 3:00 RM 3:13 JHope 3:34 Jimin 3:40 V 3:46 Suga
Firstly I just wanted to say that JKs vocals are amazing and the lyricsare so poetic and beautiful. Secondly the MV itself has this calming effect (which also is emotional to me). I also love how they sing about how much they love music and doing eat they like. It's like they are looking back on the past and looking forward to the best that's "yet to come". Also there are references to past MVs including Springday, BST, no more dream aka the bus. I don't know why but this song is bringing tears to my eyes and I can't help but smile through out the whole thing and them wearing all white it's like they are angels singing to us (which in reality they are). I also love the melodic beat of the music as its so relaxing and calming. Also I love the message through the song that is the best moment is yet to come so keep doing what you love. Im In love with this song already and its now already one of my favs Also the way they are sitting in the chairs at the start is rhe exact same position they are in in just one day
Hi. Thanks for giving yourself the chance of listening to the BTS boys. Just a few comments: Please watch the official music videos this way you'll get familiarized with their faces and personalities, besides of enjoying their original and high quality videos, and they've got captions 😉 Please stop comparing them to any other artist you know. It's not fair. Army doesn't like it and they don't either. They've been called the Beatles of the 21 st. Century. They respect and like the Beatles, but they'd like to be remembered as the BTS of the 21st Century. Of course they're influenced by a lot of artists and musicians but they're talented enough to shine with their own light. You've seen 3 videos and you're already labeling them 🙄🙄. I also recommend watching Taylor's introduction video to BTS, the updated version. A bit lengthy but we don't mind. And it's very well done, you'll enjoy I'm sure. Thanks again.
It’s not that the guys don’t like being compared to MJ or The Beatles, it’s that they don’t like actually being CALLED “The Beatles of the 21st century”. There’s a difference. There’s nuance to it. Saying someone’s got the moves of MJ and the vocal range of Freddie Mercury says a freaking lot. Calling them the Beatles of the 21st is like basically saying BTS is their replacement. Which is bad, because then it diminishes the guys’ talents. Also, a lot of ARMY actually compare the boys to Michael Jackson, but that’s because he’s been the King of Pop for decades, and not many can match his talent. BTS has proved to be their own force of musicality and good in the world, of course, and they also bring about that sense of awe that very few could ever bring…but they also come with a sense of nostalgia for anybody over 30 (typically-there are obviously younger fans because I’m 32 and know who Andy Griffith is lol). Also he didn’t really make the comparison. Someone in the comments did. The only thing he commented was how they did some MJ moves in Dynamite. Because they did lol And that person saying they’re like 7 Michael Jacksons? That’s just saying BTS is so damned talented that they’re just as flawless and sharp as he was.
All the members have brought amazing talents to the group. There are 3 rappers , (RM,Suga,J Hope) and 4 vocals (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook) and all sing individually too. My personal recommendations: RM - Joke (earlier) and Wildflower (recent) Suga - Daechwita (Agust D) J Hope - Chicken noodle soup Jin - The astronaut Jimin - Serendipity V - Singularity Jungkook - My time As a group they have SO many amazing songs but my personal favourites: Butter Black swan O.N. Kinetic manifesto Fake love Mic drop Not today Dope Idol DNA Baepsae Ddaeng So what Aanpanman Best of me My universe Pied piper Magic shop Zero o clock Dimple Born singer Blue and grey Louder than bombs Young forever The truth untold The rap line : UGH! Cyphers 1 to 4 Outro Tear There are so many more... Hope you get a chance to react to these, you will see that BTS does not have a defined genre of music, their lyrics are deep and meaningful, inspiring and motivating. There's a song for every mood. Enjoy!
I recommend listening to Run BTS, that song is freaking amazing. When the album was released, army lost our collective sh*t over that song and kinda abandoned Yet To Come and For Youth because we were so obsessed with it. It will also let you hear some actual rap. Dynamite and Yet To Come are very chill songs from the rap line. If you really want to hear them rap though, listen to Outro: Tear live and UGH live in Busan, they absolutely killed it. Those are some of my favourite songs to angrily headbang to when I've had a bad day at work. There is an explanation of UGHs lyrics by the youtube channel DKDKTV as they BTS a lot of slang terms in it so it doesn't translate into English cleanly.
you can put on CC for the lyrics or you can watch the color coded lyric videos (you can also see who is singing which line with those), but they aren‘t always 100% accurate, just to warn you.
Recommend if you wanna get familiarize with the members please do always check the official MV they have subtitles and plus you’ll know who’s singing or better check out the introduction to 7members by TAYLOR MARI.. please do looking forward to your more reaction..
Hi.... hugs from Brazil.... You should see Run BTS performing live in Busan....it's impressive as it was the first time they performed Run BTS....and also some performances by Fire, Idol, Dionysius, The Truth Untold , Magic shop, Answer: Love Myself (this one is part of a campaign with Unicef they did) among others... well, being an Army, it's hard not to list several of their songs... and, again, thank you for opening your mind and heart and welcome to the BTS world, you won't regret meeting them.
I strongly encourage you to watch A Guide to BTS by Taylor….it will answer all your questions….I also recommend you watch Tiny Desk Concert live as it will also distinguish who’s singing and their own unique voices….tnx…💜
Saludos.
I think you would like a colored coded lyric video. Pick any BTS song and there will be several fan made colored coded lyric videos for it that will have the English translations. Depending on who is singing their picture will light up and the color of the lyrics change color so you can tell who is doing what. They are mostly accurate. They are fan made so every once in awhile you get one that the translations are a little wonky but overall they tend to be pretty good.
OMG the cattttt! I love cats 😭😭😭 Turn the subtitles on!!! XD I reallyyyy think you must watch "Run BTS" dance practice (song from 2022. There is a song called "Run" from 2015 and a variety show called "Run BTS" so be carefull XD). It's a rock hip hop vibe that makes people impressed! Maybe you can watch the Taylor Guide about BTS, so you can know more about them! You can pause, we like when people pause actualy, so you can speak without miss anything!
if you want to know who sings each part there are color coded lyric videos for that, and it is a good way to remember their names too :D but this also has a MV
For well researched subtitles and also context for each song, I highly recommend the channel Enjoy BTS More. I agree with other commenters that many of the color coded videos are not the most accurate.
This one has a music video (MV), but if you don’t want to watch an MV, there are color-coded lyric videos on youtube that show who is singing. Some reactors look up the lyrics before from doolset, a BTS lyric break down website. MVs won’t be copyright striked if you show the BigHit logo in the beginning. It will be copyright claimed tho.
The thing about bts is that they are the songs, but they are a loooot of visual, every MV is a entire production, with the visual you will have the entire experience. I sugest watch the tiny desk concert, cause you will see who sings wich part.
Try out something a little different.. maybe Bapsae/Silver Spoon(it has two different names, same song) or Run BTS? Make sure you have the lyrics on as most BTS videos now have english translations and their lyrics are REALLY where things tend to hit the hardest. Also, for the members: Vocals: Jungkook- Main vocalist, most Michael Jackson like in my opinion. Jimin - Tends to be higher vocals, lighter and airy voice Jin- Has the more mature, silvery tone to his voice V- Deeper voice with the baritone -All of them can hit pretty high notes, so never assume its Jimin. Rappers RM- Deeper voice, tends to sound a bit more enunciated and knows english so his english lyrics tend to be the easiest to follow. Suga- Medium range voice, tends to sound a bit more like his words blend, but also one of the fastest rappers ever J-hope- Sings occasionally, usually more upbeat and more rhythmic as opposed to the other two who tend to switch between beats and tones
AME LA REACCION, TODOS ELLOS SON MUY TALENTOSOOSSSS, HUBIERA SIDO GENIAL QUE REACCIONES AL VIDEO MUSICAL DE YET TO COME JUNTO A LA LETRA (QUE TIENE EL VIDEO OFICIAL), ASI MISMO TE RECOMIENDO ON KINETIC MANIFESTO, BLACK SWAN Y MIC DROP!!!
Omg you should watch the Run BTS live performance in Busan 👀 Though ON Kinetic Manifesto is so, so, so good! Funny enough, it was the song I hated the most (I wasn’t an ARMY yet, and it wasn’t my genre lol That all came a whole year after its release), but now it’s actually one of my favorites ☺️
Hi! I really apreciate your reaction, but it would be usefull to watch official mv (with cc turn on for lyrics) or to watch color-coded video which will highlight each one while singing! With bts and their highly poetic sense for lyrics, it’s very pitty if u do not see what have been said. But for next, i recommend song Butter (there is also multiple official remixies including Megan Thee Stallion). And other song: Bts Run bts - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ssD6mzewGVo.html (there is link cause they have 2 songs called Run) Fantastic version is their dance practice of bts Run bts so u can see how far their talent can go- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aqW4xXUgmno.html Also even more fantastic is performance of this song on their latest concer - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Cb70gcTVvYI.html See u in next one💜✌🏼
Thanks for reaction. You choose really great song but this song's mv includes hints from their past mvs, and this song's lyrics kinda deep for you to ephasize. Cause they are mostly talking about their journey and who they are in this song. So if you want to continue watch them I can recommend you "DOPE M/V" from 1theK channel with subtitles. I guess you will like it.
Recommending the introduction to BTS members by taylor ♥️♥️ it help you to know them better 👍👍 And please turn on the cc sub if you want to read the lyrics 👍♥️
Hey thanks for the amazing reaction.. as all armys in the comments saying next you should do a reaction to a guide by Taylor named the bangtan 7 so u get to know the band and the members ( we don't mind 1 h + videos so don't worry about the length) and after that you should do the Festa Room live 🤌
About that "boy band" thing... There are two ways to look at it. One way is to assume that something that primarily appeals to a young, female demographic is inherently inferior, low quality, to be ridiculed, and worthy of scorn. For people who think like this, the term 'boy band' is offensive. They don't want to be associated with it, especially if they are not young and/or female. Even young female people can be convinced that things they like are inferior to things every other demographic enjoys. So they will insist that BTS is not a boy band. The other way to look at it is this: "Yeah, they are a boy band. So what? Why do you have a problem with that? Some of the best music in history was written by members of boy bands. Yeah, they appeal to teens and young women. What's wrong with that? Do you ever question the fact that grown-ass men obsess over hot, sweaty young men wearing shiny, tight-fitting, matching outfits on sports fields every weekend? Why can't young women do the same thing? It's actually a lot more normal for them to do it, don't you think? Why do men get to fan over young guys, but women who are the same age as them can't without being diminished?" I'm in the second group. I am not at all embarrassed that I love a boy band. I do not need to distance myself from the concept, or make statements like "Not all fans are females in their teens and young adulthood." Because the truth is that MOST fans are females in their teens and young adulthood. They are STILL the majority, regardless of what us older fans want to believe. Young females are responsible for making practically every cool trend in the history of pop culture universally known, including music. They are the reason the rest of us even know BTS exist in the first place. Young (mostly) women and teenagers followed BTS at first *because they are a boy band.* And there is nothing wrong with that. They deserve credit, not derision. They definitely do not deserve erasure. So let's stop insulting those young women by insisting that a group cannot be both excellent and a boy band at the same time. And in case everyone forgot, Michael Jackson got his start in a boy band.
UM....There is a music video with subtitles. That would have been the preferred video to reac to. Especially since they are Korean and amazing performance artists. This music video for Yet To Come actually got a Grammy nomination this year. Actually a live performance would be even better. I will link one for you. I can link a video of Yet To Come, but I gaurantee you will love the live performance, and it has a mini discussion in the middle. There is also a special guest on Yet To Come in the live performance, but I won't tell you, because you should watch it. Don't forget your closed captions, and you might need to go into settings and choose English subs, because sometimes the subs default to Korean. BTS Yet To Come MV w/Eng subs - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kXpOEzNZ8hQ.html BTS 'Proof' Live (Born Singer, Yet To Come, For Youth) w/English subs - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9sJ_I1lHpps.html
Hi! We don't mind you paussing, also, it would be nice if you watch the MV with the lyrics, they are very important, is part of the beauty and the art they do. We don't mind long videos so you can pause and talk that way you don't miss anything. I'm sorry for my english, it is not my first language, greetings from a 53 y.o. chilean Army 💜
For a bit of a change I'd say watch dance pactice Run BTS by BTS ( not Run by BTS). It is recent. Put subtitles on and when pausing restart by repeating a few seconds because you missed at least one great melody change by pausing at unfortunate timing. Good luck 💜
I think it was great you heard the song and their voices without the music video. The music video does have it's meaning, but it would go over the head of many who aren't familiar with a bunch of their older music videos too. It's about their journey as a group. Not many are fans of color coded lyric videos bc of some that try to make money from them, or get them out so quick to get as many views that they don't time to translate as thoroughly as they could. But they have their use. As translation and usually knowing who's singing what part. After a while, you get to learn their voices without them since they all do have a distinct voice 🥰
