Anyone has to see this video. WOW! You are AMAZING. You really put a lot of knowledge and time to make this video. Your explanation is no doubt, your editing is crazy; it's simple yet on point. From the first time I knew BTS (around 2016), I notice their mission in every MVs. Yes I notice it too in every lyrics they put. They have helped me through my hardships back then. But I admit in between 2018-2019 I was so back and forth with their song, I feel like I'm not really attached with the songs. But when I heard Black Swan and read the lyrics, it gets me attached to them again. After that, I hear their song again from year 2018-2019, and then I feel like that was maybe the transition to know more about them self, and maybe it affects me too, that I feel not comfortable with the transition of the music. But then they back to the track again, they feel comfortable with them self or their music again, they finally found them self in this Map of the Soul album. And, I reflect from that. Like you said, healing is not comfortable. Maybe that was the time when they heal them self, maybe they want to show us that healing is not comfortable but we need to. Big Hit's mission accomplished so well. Thank you for your hard work on this, GREAT content! I love you.

I find it funny how now the big companies are trying the BH model. Their groups now come out making more up front, blatant statements like "we want you to see the real people behind the artists", we want to share happiness with the world", "we want to help others", etc. I have found it hard to Stan other groups because these companies have started using these as "marketing tactics" and not because it comes from their heart as part of "their mission", whereas BH & BTS, now their new groups have had this as their foundation since the beginning. Am I making any sense?

Your comment definitely makes sense to me. It of course is true that big 3 are now attempting to do things in a more Big Hit way, Big Hit is what is popular in the industry right now, and they desperately want that success for themselves. And yes I feel that on a lot of levels it can feel sort of... phony (???) and somewhat inauthentic to see other groups trying to follow this model because their entertainment companies believe it will make them more money. But I do want to acknowledge that that "music and artist for healing" while a meaningful part of their mission, is a marketing tool for Big Hit, maybe their most effective and important one. Big Hit is an entertainment company that values turning a profit just as much as all the others, just because they have a ethics driven mission doesn't excuse them from being a corporation. Something like the I Need U MV I think is a really good example- that's a very different kind of MV for K-Pop especially when it came out, there's no dancing in it, no flashy lasers, fancy sports cars etc... it's a highly emotional MV that deals with concepts of trauma and togetherness... and we all know how I Need U turned out for Big Hit. That MV is the thing that really blew them up, and so they knew then that in order to be successful THAT is what they needed. Because THAT, a meaningful emotional connection with your audience, is something that the big 3 cannot buy. It's the foundation of the company, and yes, maybe it is real and meaningful for the fans who engage with it, but it is still definitely a cornerstone of Big Hit marketing. They know that once you create an emotional connection with a fan that fan is far more likely to spend their money and become a very loyal customer. In my personal opinion 'ethical companies' don't exist.

@@ItsTheTinyBug oh, no, no, no. I agree with you 100% and I think my statement of companies cashing in on the emotional side that BTS & BH was misunderstood. All businesses in an industry, regardless what it's product may be will always try to create their own model of what is working best in that industry. That's just the nature of doing business and being able to do business in that industry. We just saw Taylor Swift use the KPop model of "multi versions" with one of her latest albums. It happens in all industries. There was no malice meant in my statement. I apologize if anyone reads it that way. :-)

@@deanncoates8456 omg no lol. I wasn't mad at you at all! I totally agree with your initial comment it was really good! sry ahhh! BH's mission is still, in my opinion, better than basically any other label and it has lead to them making (I think) better content like you said. They're just still... ya know... a corporation [faint distant booing].

Also, there’s a little typo (0:43) ; it’s not “buisness”, it’s “business”.
