I didn't used to cry over songs, but these guys really know how to touch my heart and violently wring the tears outta my eyes 😂 It will be so special to hear this song on an official album. I can't wait for it to come out ❤ RM's lyrics about the sunglasses was also the thing that got me the first time I heard it. I know the boys didn't pen Let Go, and really, it could be about anything, but something about the timing of this coming out in spring 2018 makes me imagine a timeline I am so happy not to be a part of. Goodness I've bawled to this song. The choreo is one of my favorites though. It's so beautiful and even the "sexy" moments feel emotionally charged. Like the thigh grab. They're holding on so tight, but still their grip is slipping 💔 134340 is one of my favorite songs! It's so good! And so cleverly written! And suga sounds smooth as hell! And I love space! 😅 I don't really think it fits for a stadium performance though. I get goosebumps everytime I watch born singer's performance for two reasons. The first being the lyrics and the passion and the second ( my favorite) is the difference of how they stand during the performance. No one can tell me it didn't break their heart to realize in the beggining when they were still young they perform looking at each other because back then they were all they had and in the end it seems like they finally gain courage to turn to the audience ( face the world) because they're together. And in the most recent one when they had already succeeded they perform looking at the audience and in the end they turn back to each other to symbolize that no matter what and how many years have passed and experience they gained, at the end of the day they still need each other. "Stay Gold" & "Your Eyes Tell. Live". I hadn't seen it before so it was fun to watch. Your shelf was so empty back then. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I only found BTS in 2020 & 'Lights' was the first Japanese songs I heard. The lyrics!! It's still one of my favorites. Highly recommend. Other Japanese songs I would recommend are ' 'For You' mv & 'Crystal Snow' live. For 'Crystal Snow' you'll want to use a specific '4th Muster in Japan' version. Trust me on this one. Aww I am sad I missed the live (like always 😩)! But I love watching them while I work from home! Also, I am not sure if anyone mentioned it but there was some speculations around the meaning of Let Go. After Jin mentioned in the MAMA speech about how BTS almost decided to disband in 2018, there was speculation by Army that Let Go was them speaking to not only themselves and letting go of BTS but also a way of saying goodbye to Army. Obviously, nothing was ever confirmed but every time I hear Let Go that is all that I can think about. 😭🫠

Ahh I finally got down to watching this, it was so much fun! Although my plan was to watch this before bed (right now lol) I don’t think I can sleep now cuz I’m so hyped up from these performances 🤣 Oh, and also my theory is for this album: I have a feeling that this album is a transition album leading up to a future album with a completely different bts sound(this was hinted at in their announcement abt the album), later in the year they’ll do a tour that includes most of the tracks from this album [basically a throwback tour to close off this chapter of bts] and HOLY FKK I’m commenting this as we already seen CD 2 tracklist drop- if this happens we might get cypher 3 performed live again 😭. I also have a feeling that some of boys have been saving their mixtape releases (ahem jk n tae I’m looking at you 👀) so maybe(???) they’ll decide to release them once they do E word sometime soon after a tour. And once they come back, they’ll drop a huge album with a completely different concept and sound that we’ve never heard before since it’s hinted that they’ll start a new chapter in the future. AHH IDK THATS JUST WHAT I THINK, whatever happens I’m just excited to be a part of this ride 🥹💜💜

SPOILER WARNING for Let Go Theory: (p.s I'm just saying this in case you want to know this beforehand when you read the lyrics.) I'm a little late to this and I don't know if BTS have confirmed this theory but the song 'Let Go' was actually written at a time when they were considering disbanding, hence why the lyrics have each member saying its time to "let go" or "Time to say goodbye". Which the "disbandment outcome" was actually confirmed by them at MAMA 2018, where Jin says "We considered disbanding the group". And if you haven't watched the MAMA 2018 speech, I'm just saying to get tissues for it...a lot of tissues.

Finally glad you got to hear Born Singer and Let Go. I actually hadn't heard a lot of their Japanese tracks and not to long ago did a whole relistening of their discography finding a new love and appreciation for older songs that before I thought okay for some reason but ended up loving them more now. I added a bunch more to my playlist 134340 and Let Go being 2 of many.
