This amazing song is inspired by an Italian folklore. The story describes a man who is said to be “ugly” and lives in a castle all by himself. He was in love with a girl but didn't dare to tell the truth only to find that she was dead later. The moral of the story, as interpreted by BTS, is that people are entrapped in the depths of misery and darkness due to the lack of self-love and confidence. The lyrics are like poems, the music rich and mellow. It's going to be one of my all-time favorite BTS songs.
