Let’s relax and watch BTS and South Korea’s President Moon’s United Nations interview together. How have you been lately? Feel free to unload in the comments. 🌹 #BTS #UnitedNations #UN #army #btsarmy
I think these guys over the yrs… have become more than just a music band… they have evolved into something that they themselves have willed, through their music end fandom. So it doesnt surprise me they have taken on such a heavy cause. I think because it’s BTS they can rise to the occasion.
Thanks for your honest and sincere reaction. Also sharing your thought.;-) I am korean, and president Moon is much respected by Korean. Over the four years during his presidential time, he’s really making walking the talk and always trying to be transparent in all aspect of his influential parts. He’s the most (not the one of the) respectful president. So i’s like to tell you what he said was all true and has been well executing until now. It’s pity that we can’t have him more years.;-) Also, me as a proud army, I love Moon and proud of our boys and their dignity. They are all beautiful people who I love. 🥰🥰
Thank you so much for giving me some clarity on this! I’m so glad that he actually sticks to the words he speaks and carries them out in his day-to-day duties. You can tell how much respect he has for BTS, so this was wonderful to watch 🙌🏼💜
@@aleshaw4762 I believe current rules in Korea allow a president only one, 5-year term. I only learned this recently while doing a little research, and I believe his term will end after next year.. He seems to have done a really good job, and I have a lot of respect for him. 💜
Brooke: Did you watch or read about the Livestream BTS did from their hotel room to eat & speak with ARMY. Suga & RM understood their mission for the UN at this session was to draw attention to the SDG and they accomplished that goal. If you think about it, they got over 1 million people to watch the opening session of the UN and that all the other speakers only drew less than 5,000 viewers. Suga shared: "At first, people were like, ‘Aren’t you a singer? Why would you go there? What would you do?’ We are aware of that, and we came for that role. We are here to support SDG. We came here to do that as special envoys." He then explained that he didn't mind what people thought because they were there to support an important issue. I think it's how they handle the pressure. They are smart and have a very realistic viewpoint of their roles. They always said, they will try their best and that's all they can do. Funny that during the whole livestream, it kept stalling and RM complained that he missed Korea's speedy internet! 😂
A lot of small-minded people have criticized BTS for being "political." If you are a person with a big voice shouldn't you be using that to spread an important msg? BTS should be commended for doing this. They don't deserve such harsh criticism plus ask yourself "What have you ever done to make the world better?"
You look great without makeup. Never excuse yourself for beeing natural 💜 I really love that you speak about the preasure they must be under. It's impossible to even imagin how hard it must be in their position. I'm glad they are 7 together in this.
I'm glad that you reacted to this and you also talked about the amount of pressure on them which I think people don't think about that bts are also human In their recent interview with Chris Martin suga stated that they feel pressured and they always try their best to do better. But still I'm so proud of them and honestly I've never seen an artist like them. They're always aware of their impact on people and fans specially younger generation and try hard to be a good role model for them.
As l'm korean army i'm interested in your listening to my president interview . I'm respecting my president Moon jae in He had worked for korean democrocy as humanic lawyer and he had been hardship cause of resisting dictator government . Mr. Moon is very humble to people and I feel he has been respecting our bts. Anyway thank you for watching the interview and your comment. Wish your good luck^&^
Thank you so much for watching and for commenting. I’m learning so much more about 문재인 through comments like yours. I appreciate it more than you know! 💜
Honestly I do feel this generation is the ‘welcome’ generation. I m in my 50’s and our generation did go through some tough times but we got out of it pretty quickly but this generation…. a lot of things was lost due to this pandemic. Everything was in a standstill for almost 2.5yrs… When is pandemic is over its like a ‘reset’ for you guys. When the time comes hope you guys can say… ‘welcome back’!! Fighting!!!
Very true! My mom would always talk to me about what she would go through as a kid in the 60’s and 70’s (nuclear bomb drills, a couple of wars not everyone agreed with, a terrible financial “depression” with not many blue collar workers fully employed, etc.) and I try to be sensitive to the fact that none of us have had to easy, so to speak. But I do agree with you that a global pandemic… is something so strange and so devastating in so many ways to an entire WORLD of young people… it’s not comparable to anything in recent history. We will keep going either way! I do feel like I’m struggling with a depression that I don’t fully understand and hope that someday I can overcome it, after all of this is over. Thank you so much for watching 💜
@@BrookeMorrison Every generation has gone through difficult times but I think the millenial and especially the Gen Z have experienced way more challenges. I really feel for our youth and worry about their future. But time and time again it's been the youth (like BTS, David Hogg, Greta Thunberg, Amanda Gorman) who have been brave enough to speak up and demand changes about the problems that are plaguing our society such as climate change, mass shootings, economic disparity, and other social injustices. I am just so impressed by their courage and resilience and they give me a glimmer of hope. I hope you don't give up. Things may seem bleak right now but you will never know what the future holds.
this a wonderful interview with President Moon and BTS. ooh I been wanting to watch this interview not so badly I just wanted to watch this interview. what the guys and President Moon was talking about was wonderful, truthful and the greatest honor for BTS. plus BTS haven't been in the States ever since this pandemic started. it's been tough and rough during this pandemic. stay positive. this opportunity to go to UN was amazing. I hope BTS will accompany President Moon to the UN again when he needs to go again. I hope the guys are enjoying their first trip for a long time in the States. if you see any of the members please give them some privacy. ;) thanks for sharing this video with all of us Army Brooke. ;)
It is a lot of responsibility on the guys’ part, but president Moon is backing them up beautifully and I think they can’t do wrong, just for the simple fact that they’re willing to take on such a huge task to make a difference. I can’t wait to see them relax in season 2 of In The Soop, because these men are doing so, so much for the world. For people they’ve never met and for cultures they’re unfamiliar with. They leave no one behind and I hope they continue to take time for themselves. The more we as a global community try to work on these SDG’s, the more change we will see and hopefully the next generation will be welcomed into a much more accepting and balanced world. There’s always hope. 💜
Great and insightful observations to recognize the cyclic nature of the loss of innocence for all generations and caring for them as human beings . As a consumer of their product to a fellow being wondering how they are going through all this. Speaks well to BTS. Universal goals and concepts. Speaking for yourself but recognizing the value in the experiences of others. Nicely done.
I did! And I agree. I think our generation can be defined in a lot of ways and they definitely touched on one of the ways that we’re attempting to make lemonade out of lemons. I’m proud of us in a lot of ways but also know that our struggles are very real.
I loved that RM said that one way of them helping is by conveying the message that "It's not Climate Change but Climate Crisis" really stressing the urgency and seriousness of the situation. Also, let's not forget BTS' collab with Hyundai for its Hydrogen power campaign.
Definitely! All of this. The urgency is lost on anyone who could've made a difference decades ago, unfortunately. So now our generation and younger are tasked with saving the planet. It's a very heavy burden to bear.
