me outside at dawn. sitting in the stairs near the seashore. hugging myself with a jacket on while holding a semi-transparent umbrella as the droplets of rain falls lightly to the ground. the sea breeze smells like salt and petrichor. i stared at the shore as i listened to this song. sand beneath my feet, i inhaled the air slowly, exhaled. i took a sip from my mug of hot coffee and just enjoyed the freedom of being alone in a chilly weather. ☔️☕️🎶🌊🏙

Everyone says it sounds sad, which I of course understand but to me rain sounds nice and comforting along with the song and together they make me happy

Imagine : You were laying on your bed, wide awake at 3 am. There was school tomorrow, you should’ve been asleep by now. The thing was, you couldn’t sleep, your mind kept racing, and you started to overthink every thing, as you always did. You were trying hard not to cry, by blinking a lot, quickly. "Why am I like this ?" you asked yourself in your mind. "Why can’t I be like others ? Why do I always have to fake being someone to be accepted ?" You sighed, and knew you wouldn’t sleep anytime soon, so you got up, and exited your room. The house was dark, and suddenly you heard the sound of a thunder. You smiled faintly, since you loved the rain. You walked toward the front door, and opened it, sitting on the stairs in front of it. A few seconds later, drops of water started falling from the sky, so you looked up, and smiled a bit wider. Rain was like magic to you. It was always able to calm you. You closed your eyes, when suddenly your heard a voice. A deep, southing voice. A person -presumably a man, judging his voice- was singing. You snapped your eyes open, and looked around you. The voice was low, barely above a whisper, but as seconds passed by, it became louder. You couldn’t say from which side it came, so you kept looking around you. While you were looking at your right, you suddenly felt someone taping lightly your left shoulder. You jumped, surprised, and looked at the person. Someone you knew very well. *Kim Taehyung.* You looked at him in the eyes, yours were wide open ; you couldn’t believe he was there, right in front of you. He kept singing the relaxing song, while smiling at you. He sat beside you, and put his arm around your shoulders. You leaned your head on his shoulder, closing your eyes again. He started stroking your hair, and you didn’t know how, but you fell asleep. The last thing you remember was his voice saying, "We’ll always be by your side." When you woke up the next morning, you were in your bed. What happened ? You were outside- It was just a dream. This thought saddened you, it seemed so real. But at the same time, it comforted you. Because you knew he was right. Taehyung was right : even if they weren’t next to you, the seven boys of Bangtan Sonyeondan would always be there for you.

Listening to this while studying for my finals always calms me down so much. The sweet and calming sounds of the rain falling, disappearing in small droplets until the become one with the ground, with nature. V's calming voice, RM's harmonizing vocals, building a storm of feelings deep inside you but calm your nerves at the same time.

Imagine: Sitting by the window, you stare blankly at the neighborhood streets to watch the rain slowly fall. It's been 2 weeks since he left. You would remember the memories of when he would always throw sticks or little pebbles on your window at night to get your attention, so you could open up and let him in. You guys knew each other for awhile, and both of you knew that you two were madly in love with each other as well, but no one made any moves due to many doubts that the both of you guys had of each other. But either way you still loved him. He spent every minute with you like it was his last. He was the only reason why the sun would always shine everyday. As more days past by, you guys would fall for each other even more. You never knew there was this type of feeling in life where you just felt so happy about one person in your entire life. But one day, both you guys decided to meet up (Not knowing it was going to rain) to go to the movies since he had alittle surprise for you. He texted you to meet up at the convenience store at the corner, so you and him could take the bus to your destination. As you were walking you felt little delicate drips on your arm, and it soon started to pour. Not having an umberella the only option was to run, and so you did. While running you saw the convenience store and saw him. Jimin. The light of your life. He too saw you and ran across the street towards you....... but sadly didn't make it. You froze, not knowing how to react. But reality soon hit you and you ran as fast as you could to hold him. He was cold, yet still so warm. His heading closely leaning on your chest as rain still pour on the both of you. The man in the car and everyone around us started calling for help as I sat on the street lying next to Jimin. You: Jimin! Jimin! Please stay with me! Jimin: y/....n...... You: I'm here. Please hang on. - Mixes of rain and tears fell from your face on to Jimin's. He faintly smiled back at me. Jimin: Don't cry. That's the last thing I want to see if I die. You: Don't you dare talk about dying. You can hang on for a while. Jimin: Y/n.... I didn't give you my surprise yet. -Jimin slowly slid his arm into the pocket of his pants. Jimin: Although.... I was too scared to say anything or do anything..... I wanted to ask you at the right time. -A little black box was taken out and he delicately handed it to me. Jimin: I just want you to know you are the first ever real love I have ever had. I wanted a future with you..... And...I ...... -he paused struggling to talk as the pain overtakes his body. You: Stop you can tell me all these things later as soon as you get help, ok? -You sob as you stroke his cheek. Jimin: I don't think I will be able to tell you these things later...... Guilt and depression soon took over you, and it was impossible to get over with what happened. You loved him with all your heart. Imagine You just moved to Korea. Coming alone from your country to here to continue your studies. You have enrolled yourself in a university there and are staying at an apartment. Its the orientation week right now and you chose to take a walk at the park a block away from your apartment. As u stroll through the park, you start thinking about your life, your family, your studies and your mind slowly start thinking of negative scenarios. How anyone from your family might pass away and you wont be there or how anything can happen to you and your family will be so far away. Without realising, you started to cry , feeling so lonely without your family with you. Sitting down on the bench at the park you quickly fish out your phone from you pocket to listen to some calming music. However everytime u try to key in your pin your finger will just slip as youre crying hard and your whole body is shaking. Suddenly a hand took your phone from your fingers and someone sat beside you. At first you werent able to hear what he was saying, but after a few seconds you understood what he was asking. He was asking for the pin so that he can help you unlock your phone. As soon as the phone was unlocked, you asked him to play the song from your playlist saved under calming songs. When 4 oclock started playing, you started to relax, listening to the song helps you clear your mind, the song repeats for about 7 times before you were able to breathe normally. As you realise you were not alone, you quickly whip your head to the guy who is still holding your phone. He isnt staring at you but at the trees and birds. His lower face was covered with a black mask and he's wearing a long coat and has soft pink hair. You quickly wiped your face with the sleeves of your shirt and stood up. Ready to take your phone back, apologise and thank the man before dying of embarrassment. The man just handed you your phone and said that it was okay before walking away. Embarrassed with what happen you quickly went home. Next day You decided to just sit at the park after your orientation, thinking of the man that helped you. You wonder whether you will see him again. True to your thoughts, you see him walking across you, just strolling at the park. He's still wearing a long coat and the same black mask. Gathering every ounce of your confidence, you walk up to him to say thank you. As you thanked him for his help yesterday, you were about to turn and return home but you heard him ask you your name. Hesitantly, u said "y/n". "Thats a sweet and unique name" “ Hahah thanks” “ What about yours?” “ Ah i cant tell you my name but you can call me Kim?” “ Sure” “ So what do you do y/n?” “ Well im studying biotechnology at the university about 3 blocks from here. You would tell him about your day and after a few days of meeting him he finally asked about the day he found you crying. You can see that the question was bugging him each time you guys met. You told him about it and he said that you can tell him anything and not to worry, that you are not alone anymore. After 1 month You are already at the park sitting at your meetup spot waiting for Kim. He was about 10 minutes late? And he was normally never late. You got a little worried thinking of what had happen to him. Just as you were about to wake up after waiting for 20 minutes, you saw him running towards you. As he reached you, he stopped and bent to hold his knee, catching his breath. As you asked him was he okay? He simply just nodded. We sat down on the bench, looking at the birds flying around happily. “y/n?” “Yes?” you asked still looking at the scenery “ Do you want to know who i am?” “ I thought you cant tell anyone your name?” “ Well you are an exception” “ Oh? Imagine You've always been the main target for the school bullies. Everyday. For 2 years straight. They made fun of your looks, smarts, your inability to play sports well. It didn't really make a difference to you at this point. You didn't tell your 2 older brothers (Tae and Namjoon) because they were already stressed enough being kpop idols, you didn't want to worry them.The bullies were also aware who your brothers were, but they weren't afraid. They hadn't gotten into trouble yet, so why should they care. In fact, they found it pathetic that your brothers didn't help you. Two famous brothers and not one even bothered to help, what a loser. Everyday for 2 years, it was easy for you to hide the fact you were being bullied. All that happened to you were verbal assaults, but not that day. That day, they beat you until you bled. You didn't think it would hurt much at first, but they hit harder and harder, to the point where you crying and screaming in pain. They didn't care about your screaming, they even found it amusing. They only stopped because the lunch bell rang. You quickly rushed to the bathroom to wipe off as much blood as you could. At this point you were 15 minutes late to class. Once you arrived, the teacher immediately got ready to yell at you for being late. Except, they couldn't once they saw the state you were in. When they asked what happened, if someone did this to you, you looked at people in class giving you warning looks. You looked down and told the teacher that you went paying attention so you bumped into a rail and fell down a flight of stairs near the end of lunchtime. They told you to be careful and sent you to your seat and soon school ended. When you arrived home, you went to the bathroom to treat your wounds. Your brothers didn't get home for another half-hour, so after you finished treating your wounds, you took the remaining 20 minutes to cry to yourself as loud as your aching body would let you. It felt comforting crying to yourself, but your loud sobbing drowned out everything else, so you didn't notice 20 minutes go by, it raining outside, the front door opening or your brothers calling out for you. You only realized when they knocked on your door, with worried voices saying, "Y/N, are you okay? Let us in, please." If this was 2 years ago, you would've brushed it off by making up a story, but that day, you wanted nothing more than for them to comfort you. So, you unlocked the door, revealing to them your beat up body. It hurt seeing the worry in their eyes, and the fact that they were obviously exhausted, but you needed them. Once you let them take in the moment, you ran to them and hugged them tightly. The three of you sat down on your bed as you explained how you got hurt, how for 2 years straight you kept the bullying a secret. You knew they would eventually scold you for keeping this from them, but it didn't matter. It felt good telling them, you knew they loved you and would do anything to protect you, but it hurt you to worry them. Once you told them everything, they comforted you the best way they could, by singing. They knew how much you loved their songs, especially 4 o'clock. They sang this song to you to calm you, since you were crying way more than before. Eventually, you drifted off to sleep in their embrace. The rest of the night was peaceful, as you three slept cuddling together. The next day, Namjoon told Bang PD-nim the situation, and told him that he and Tae would be taking the day off. Taehyung made you breakfast and the three of you drove to school together. You told them you would go out first because you knew the bullies would attack you first thing, you wanted them to stay in the car for at least 1 minute after you went out. The bullies did exactly what you wanted. Once they started picking on you, Tae and Namjoon emerged from the car and put the bullies in their places. They tried to make themselves seem innocent but, your brothers weren't having their shit, so they said, "From now on, if Y/N tells you bothered her, even if it was a harmless spitball, we're going to be back. Got it?" You three proceeded to the principal's office to explain the situation. The bullies finally got what they deserved, expulsion and 2-3 months in prison. Anyone who beats another half to death will be faced will the ultimate punishment. No one has bothered you since. And you've lived a peaceful life End.

This is one of the first songs I knew when I first got into BTS. Every time I listen to it, it brings back so many memories of my old school, my ARMY friends, etc. The raining effect made it more realistic!! A little imagine for y’all: It was somewhere in winter, the sky was cloudy and gray yet still beautiful. Instead of snowing as usual, it was raining. Just a light shower. Meanwhile, you just finished your huge project for school. At this point, all you want is relaxation. However, taking a nap in the late evening may cause you sleep deprived later on. “why not just enjoy the rain” you thought. You put on your favorite hoodie and grabbed your phone and headphones, putting on your favorite song...4 o’clock by V and RM. You walked out of the house, it’s been a while since you have relaxed with nature. A smile spread across your face as you reach out to the rain. You jumped out to face the rain, dancing like there is no tomorrow. By the end of the song, you plopped yourself onto the steps in front of your house. You were soaking wet, but who cares at this point? What’s more important is this feeling, this feeling of freedom. It just felt...nice.💜 [hope y’all like it✨ and sorry for the terrible ending 😅]

Imagine : Opening the door to you small apartment setting your things on the table beside the door , causing a loud slamming noise . Soaked from the buckets of rain being poured from the sky with everything you had on you drenched . Realizing this you sigh in frustration , pushing your bangs and hair back . The dark only allows you to see outline of your furniture and the boxes you have next the door . You stare at the for a Moment wanting to go though them one more time but control yourself as you walking away . Untying the shoelace of your boots and setting them on the balcony to dry, Walking back inside the floor creeks as your cold feet hit the wood. You are making a small trail of water down the hall due to your clothes being soaked from the rain . Walking to your bedroom looking out the window to see the city and how you can see every single light, building and car and people walking below. The quiet soon consumes the room .Naturally you turn on the radio to listen to what’s going on while you gather clothes and walking back down the creaky hallway into the bathroom . Slowly piece by piece of clothing comes of you and placed into the hamper . You step inside the shower wishing it would all be over . Why can’t it just be over ?It’s been a month you should be happy today’s your birthday. Right ? He always said he would get me something really special for your birthday . Every year he would deliver with the perfect gift at the same time every birthday ..., 6:37 . He told me it was the time we first met and that’s when I feel in love with him. Looking down at your Hand seeing the wrinkles that have come from standing there for so long . You turn off the shower and reach up to grab the towel and dry yourself . Walking out you go the sink and place both hands of the edge and look at what’s become and emotional and unstable mess . Letting out a long sigh you get it together knowing you can be better . You put your clothes on walking out the bathroom wearing just a large oversized T-shirt that went down to your thighs . Back down the dark and creaky hallway you plop yourself on the bed and face the window again. The radio still playing songs as the rain continues to pour down . Staring to what was endless city of dreams . Something on he radio catches attention as you hear the radio host say something. “ This is for a special birthday girl from her boyfriend of 5 years and Her best friend “ Looking back out the window the host continue to talk “ This ones for you y/n” Your eyes widen hearing your is said on the radio . The clock says it 6:37 and only they knew what that time meant “Is this some sort of prank?”. You got up and was about to change the stations when a song comes on . The song starts playing you’ve , never heard it before . The radio rarely ever new songs as it’s always repetitive. The boys voices come and the emotional build inside come pouring out like waterfalls . Is this the birthday present they got for me . Your finger nails start digging into the palm of your hand and you bite you tongue as you sit on the floor crying endlessly as you listen to the voices you can no longer hear in your life.Going back outside your room you the boxes placed by the door grabbing the one that said “ Birthday present “ Opening it is a small box and a letter . Reading the letter it says “ Happy birthday my love ! You are finally one year older and better that ever ! I love you and I love you enough to ask to this ... Will you marry me ? “ Time stops and you freeze . You look back inside the box to grab the small box and see a beautiful ring placed inside . You grab the ring and place on your finger saying “ Yes” The emotion you’ve had all this time feel relieved. The stream of tears is shared with a small smile as you lay back down in the bed looking at the ring . The song still playing as you slowly start falling asleep to the words . Thank you, I'm going on a trip with my class on Tuesday and I didn't know what I should do in the car..I have depression and I'm just so different..its hard to understand me..and no one know how I really feel and everything.. I LOVE THIS SONG AND THE RAIN. as soon as i clicked i knew i was gonna get emotional. This is so freaking beautiful, OH MY GOD like literally it can calm you. And as soon as the song starts, my eyes closed on their own and there i was sitting on a bench under the shelter, looking around to see the beautiful rain pouring down and the neon lights of the cosy cafès and bookstores flickering as i enjoy this beautiful song.

This song is more of a friend to me. I have recently moved somewhere far away from everything I ever knew. When the whole city falls asleep, I open my curtains, play this song and stare at the sky, the moon and stars. Even if the coldness passes through the window pane, I embrace it. My fingers reach for the sky and then, my heavy eyelids drop... and I fall asleep with Taehyung's soft ending vocals fading away slowly.

:( 2016-2017 was the best year for me. I felt something every time i listened to their songs, they were literally my lifeline. I had a pretty mild depression when i was 12, it wasn't that bad but i felt untalented and alone. Back then when i listened to the wings album, it really helped me feel happier, because their was a whole fandom of people who connected with me.This was one of my favorite songs :(( i miss wings era so much, i want that thrill i used to have.

You cried yourself to sleep for a minute and wake to the laughing outside the blurry window. They’re still there having a great time..* “Miss him..” “I guessed he moved on quickly..” *You then decide to re live those moments outside even if they are still there. You put on his jacket he gave you long ago and ran outside. While looking up and feeling the drops of rain, you feel that each drop is like each moment you spent together. You began to cry and fall to your knees. The cool and wet concrete scraping your skin. “He’s really gone huh..” you mumbled.
