One of my favorite songs and videos. The silly "twisting" and frantic efforts of a young boy trying to win the attention of a girl. Ultimately, the girl chooses, just like other females of different species. The males can act the fool all they want, but the girl chooses. Of course, young boys eventually learn to smooth out their style as they become young men. It's a fun cycle. Hope you watch the dance practice versions of this.
You all probably looked this up by now, but as far as the bicycle wheel looking like it's not spinning, it comes from the optical illusion called the 'wagon wheel' effect. It's stroboscopics. As you already saw, it was most prominent on Jin's bike, but if you look at JK's bike, on the left, his wheels were spinning. Everyone has experienced this effect in real life, when you see things spinning & when it spins just at the right speed, the patterns on the moving object look like they're staying in place. But once the moving object (wheel, disc, moving train, roulette wheel, spinning top, flipping playing cards, etc) starts to slow down to zero, the illusion dies off. The camera & Jin just happened to be moving forward at the right speed to make the bike wheel spin at the right frequency, making the tire tracks not look like they're moving. It caught me off guard too when I first saw this MV. You can actually calculate the stroboscopic effect to make patterns stand still if you have the right physics/geometry formulas. In Jin's example, you need to know the speed of the bike, the outer diameter of the wheels & the measurement spacing between the tire track patterns. Sometimes the camera/video may also affect the outcome. Here is an example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QOwzkND_ooU.html Now I would be surprised that they did this on purpose in the Hormone MV, but why would they? :)
@@JellowQuake ... Ah ok, the guys asked for an answer in their reaction, so I gave one. If they have a bicycle that has wheel tracks running crosswise (like in the MV, or like any mountain bike), spin the front wheel manually with their hand, then adjust spin speed (faster/slower), until the tire tracks start looking like they're staying in place. Other than when there's no spin at all (stopped), of course. I had to say that last sentence, because someone might make a joke there, hehe. I didn't have to elaborate, but it's for other people here who may have never spun wheels by hand before. Yes, BTS is magical, aren't they? They are taking over the world, including your guys there. They joked about BTS in the first reactions & slowly warmed up to them. Now they are low-key fans, not non-fans, lol. I applaud them for recognizing this level of skill & talent. Unfortunately this pandemic has interrupted that surge by BTS. But hopefully things go back to normal. It's scary to think otherwise.
Are you all well? Is your state not one of those in quarantine? If so, be strong, watch your favorite shows at home, be patient and healthy! 😘😘😘😘😘 Thanks for watching BTS after all!
They should do “best of me” from the lotte family performance... the newest one... their is a concert where they do , idol, mic drop, best of me and it’s so much energy and they’re all bouncing all over dancing and singing the whole time in black suits sweating their asses off and going so hard. I also wish you guys would react to “bts accidents falls on stage” or the “bts overworked and exhausted” videos... get a glimpse of how hard they perform and see how they come off stage or how hurt they are and keep going.... it’s very important
4:17ish the tire was moving before we see it... but if you watch closely as the camera moves from jhope to Jin who is in the front on the bike... jin lifts his hand up to gesture but that movement made him slightly turn the wheel and stopped peddling bc he felt the little tug from turning the wheel with one hand on it. Not sure if that makes sense but if you watch it and look where the tire will come into frame you will see that small jerk of the wheel and his feet stop moving and looked like may have hit the break Also 4:35 when you replayed it you can see jin had both hands on the wheel initially and feet where slowly pedaling... but him lifting his hand caused him to tilt the wheel and he must have instinctively tapped on the break bc it jerks for a second. Watch his feet at this part but it’s quick but you see him stop pedaling
