BTS - We Are Bullet Proof Pt 1 Reaction (K-POP) Higher Faculty 

RM is all command Suga is all emotion Jhope is all flow In my opinion it's hard to choose the best. All three are crazy live. And they have confident swag.

*Let me briefly explain BTS rapline to you!* *RM* is a poet. You can not change my mind.His lyricism reads, sounds and works like poetry: a few words have multiple meanings and derivate in multiple chains of thought. Every time you listen to them, you discover new details, new ideas, new insights. Even when he's being straightforward, there's still some some philosophy or revelation or a big question or an aesthetic behind them. A poem is full of passion, but every word is chosen carefully, with intention. They're puzzle pieces, every piece has a place to create the full picture. It's a form of ART. WORDS WITH INTENTION. *SUGA's* lyricism is like "an arrow straight to the heart": you immediately understand the emotion he's trying to convey, you don't need to even know what he's saying to know "what you're supposed to FEEL". What he says is always interesting too, and it has layers too, but, from the first listen.... You usually feel that same way after listening to his song 1000 times. Even when the song is sociopolitical or when it displays an idea, your first impression is a STAB OF EMOTION forever tattooed in your memory. *J HOPE's* lyricism is like a playground, an amusement park. A place where magical things happen, where you are encouraged to bend the rules. It's full of bright primal colors, you walk around with bounce in your steps and inevitably feel the childlike impulse of starting to dance around, or start imitating his onomatopoeias and alibis. There's a quirky creativity in his choice of analogies and a pure-hearted kindness in his message. Even when he expresses anger or sadness, there's this sense of DYNAMIC RHYTHM that is always moving, always unpredictable and ALIVE. *EDIT: Some examples to illustrate my description:* *RM:* - "From the time everyone is born / Life is more beautiful because it uses death as the collateral payment." (Life) -"I grew a flower that can't be bloomed / In a dream that can't come true." (FAKE LOVE) -"Why do you keep trying to hide under your mask, / when even the scars made by your own mistakes mark your constellations." (Answer: Love Myself.) *SUGA:* - "If you think you're gonna crash, accelerate even harder, you idiot" (Intro: Nevermind) "Hip hop came to me gently / Like a little child looks for his mother, /it naturally permeated into my life (...) If loving this culture was a sin, would have died hundreds of times." (Hip Hop Phile) - 'To be honest, I miss you, but I'll erase you now / Because doing so hurts me less than resenting(blaming) you" (Spring Day) *J HOPE:* The standard of happiness is you, and you walk that path / I wish to fill up faith / Like a piece of cake that is simple and filling (...) YAYYYY, we are going way back to when BTS was still looked down upon but they stayed true the themselves, hence the lyrics "we are bulletproof" meaning no matter what happens or what people say they will be strong. Hello! Here the info about the song! (And the old story of the group for a better understanding) We are bulletproof pt1 is actually a remake The original song is *We are B.P.B* which is an unofficial song by the original line-up of the group ((RM, IRON & Supreme Boi) produced by RM. The song was released in 2010, and was later rereleased by the current formation (BTS) as part of the "BTS Festa" (where the group celebrates their debut by sharing new content with ARMYs) on June, 2015. As you know, the group started bc of RM, and the original idea was to create a Hip Hop group full of rappers, after RM, Iron and Supreme boi joined and then the Hit It rap competition happened and Suga and i11evn joined (Suga lost at the final round but was so talented that they took him in anyways) they were supposed to debut in 2011 but something happened and the group dissolved So after that RM and Suga decided to start again, the group's concept and name changed and they started to look for singers and dancers - JHope joined through the HIT IT auditions - Jungkook was trying to get on a singing contest and didn't made it but received letters from many entertainment companies and he choose BH bc he heard RM's rap and thought he was cool - Jin was scouted after being seen getting out of a bus - V accompanied his friend to auditions but the staff asked him to try as well (he was the only one to pass in his hometown) - Jimin was the last one to join, after deciding that he wanted to do more than contemporary dance he was encouraged by a teacher to try auditioning After BTS debuted, the rappers that were on BPB (the original lineup) talked some sh*t about RM and Suga "betraying hip hop" and more so we don't really talk about them. *RM talks about this on his first mixtape, specially on the song Awakening*

Well We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2 came out in 2013 so yes We Are Bulletproof Pt. 1 would be before that. They play some of it at the beginning of No More Dream which was BTS debut music video in 2013.

This is actually my first time hearing this song, and I thought I heard Agust D verse from Suga's line in We are bullet proof pt1

I guess it is because of suga's hardships that made his rap style like that.. Which is why he raps in a different..in this unique way.. He has his own style that really suits him...it really shows his passion and it is true since Yoongi has always been the most passionate when it comes to music. You cannot just mention Suga without "music" next to it. He is BTS' musical backbone (acc. to Kim young dae , music critic) He is the one who had the most experience and knowledge when it comes to music as he used to be a sound engineer at 17, has learned MIDI at 12 and started composing and producing at that age. He also used to teach composing lessons. Dude is a great pianist, has a perfect pitch according to RM and Yoongi is the only member who knows how to read music sheet.. It's just.. He had the hardest life predebut and you can feel in his rap, his emotions intense, contradicting his usual chill and calm aura... He carries his pain and pours all emotions through music. " He holds grudges" "He's an idiot who only knows music" Truthfully this guy is always holed up on his lab. While on free time, other members will like.. Play ping pong or hang out with other members (w/c isn't a bad thing) ,Suga on the other hand will be on his music studio, still making songs and I quote it is bc" I have nothing to do". Even on their free time, all he does is make music. Music is everything when it comes to Suga. He really makes songs everyday. His dedication and passion is just beyond. His bond with music is really special and unique. I think music kept Yoongi sane and saved him during his hardest times when he's young.

in my opinion: suga is technically the best rapper, rm is the best writer, j-hope is the best at melodic rap and has amazing flow. they all have their qualities. when they come together live and hype each other up, it's so good. the best.
