This song STILL goes hard and it's even crazier knowing how old it is and how much it holds up today in terms of BTS' success. Also JK's line in the chorus still gets me every time lmao

They released this in 2013 on O!RUL8,2? and I’m always amazed at how confident and vicious they were in these early songs. They believed in themselves and it paid off. That’s why tracks like “We On” age so well. Like Yoongi said, “What if Bangtan rises?” And he was right! Never ceases to amaze me.

When RM's verse starts, he says "Runch Randa & Rapmon". Runch Randa was the name he used when he was on the underground rap scene in Korea, before BTS 💜🔥

Honestly people sleep on bts earlier albums and deem them corny. I agree that they've gotten more sophisticated with their production but this is one of the most hip hop groups I've heard from kpop.

So I really urge you to check out their albums (they're available as videos on yt with lyrics I think) in chronological order. Infant ARMY here, slowly discovering the whole discography. I listen to Spotify and Soundcloud a lot in the background, but there's just too much good stuff to take in all at once. Most of my true "discovering" takes place here on RU-vid, in part because I have both visual and aural focus and in part due to getting deeper into the song with the lyrics and in part due to watching reaction videos. ( : Sometimes I "discover" songs that are already familiar to me from my nighttime phone playlist. A couple of times I was impressed enough from a song playing on this poor sound system that I looked it up during the day. Just recently I keep discovering a "new" favorite from their older stuff, over and over. Today I hooked my phone up to my car's speakers and truly heard "We On" for the first time. Each part of the song hit me just right and the feeling kept building until I was sitting alone in my car at the end and said out loud "Sh*t, I've got ANOTHER favorite!" So, here I am looking it up on RU-vid to get further into it... and there you are to help! ( : ...and all that was BEFORE I watched, before I knew the lyrics!!! D*mn man.

Don't underestimate BTS. Love this 7 guys so much.

Some of those parts of A.H.L. were so great so after I'd seen them, I realized why, even though there was some cringey part/s at the begnning of BTS being on that show, that it it still was an important part of the guy's development, training and in strengthening their determination, their bond & unity plus their ability to endure tough situations too & all was a part of their journey to keep growing. Iris the encouraging talented voice coach or teacher, the beat box teacher & dance teachers lessons too even doing laundry (wish they'd teach my grown kids about that, ha ha) all helped BTS in different ways, contributing to the amazingly well balanced team they built together. I love some of the moments like Suga saying "I'm rich"....all that swag before he had enough reasons to be so hellfire 'swagalicious' ha.

It will always be crazy to me that they were making music like this, attack on bangtan, we are bulletproof pt 2 at the beginning, like they knew they were going to be the new blue print of kpop, like they were warning people to wait for them and look at them now, they really said to the haters "jokes on you clown, i warned you and you didn't listen"
