Watch a Korean Concert (BTS) for the first time.
- for those not familiar, BTS is considered as one of the most popular Korean band to date. They received awards from Billboard, American Music Award, and other Award giving bodies for music (please google for more info. 😅).
So I was asked yesterday morning by my lifegroup buddy to watch a concert for free. Luckily, I was free so I asked the details of the concert before I decide to confirm. To my surprise, it was a Korean Concert (BTS). To be very honest I know the group cause someone introduced them to me before and I often heard them on news and social media, but I don’t know any of them (even their names), and any of their songs 🤦🏻♂️. I watch Korean drama but I seldom listen intently to any Kpop group.
So quite hesitant at first, I asked that they give the free tickets to someone I knew that loves BTS so much and would enjoy the concert more than I do, but no one is available 😞. So for the reason that my schedule is free, and the ticket is too pricey just to waste (242Sgd = 9100pesos), and to accompany Matet (whom I considered my Ate here in SG, coz she’s a super BTS fan..😅, seeing her so excited and thrilled to watch the show was really a delight for me), I finally decided to give it a chance and go. 🙂
Did I enjoyed the show/concert? - Definitely!!! Though I don’t understand the lyrics, those guys were so much talented that I want to learn all of their dance moves 😅. And the crowd, they call themselves “Army” (fans of BTS), were just so ecstatic and incredible 😅😅. I have never seen a crowd like that before in any of the concerts ive been through. It surprises me that even a slight show of the shoes (the fans will go wild), imagine more the scenario where one in the group will wink and give a finger heart (waah, I thought the stadium will collapse 😅)..
I also realized that at times in our life we just need to say yes and explore experiences that were not familiar to us (as long as its not harmful and contradictory to our principles), for this concert It will be a big regret have I not decide to give it a go. So if there’s an opportunity - give it a go. Life must be lived..(Nakapagreflect pa 😅).
Will I be an Army now? - tba. 😅
