Today was such a historic day for BTS and army! So proud I literally cried. When you’re used to watching BTS with great camera angles you notice how terrible these award shows cameras are 😂

It was a combo of history-making being nominated for artist of the year and winning and performing in front of a live audience connecting again with ARMY and them to see BTS live it was a very special day

I love the quality of artists and people that they are. None wanted to stand out more than the other, there were times when Chris would go backwards on stage and always one of the boys would go with him, when V He did his part left behind and Chris waited for him and took him by the hand. You could see the joy in their faces, and it is so contagious, even through the tv screen. 💜 They pour out so much, I just hope their hearts are filled with happiness in all of this.

Totally agree with your reaction. Camera work was abysmal. Don't they do rehearsal before the shows??? Don't they have enough cameras and work out the placement of artists? I must be biased with watching BTS at their rehearsals and knowing where each camera is and they make use of them much to the fans delight. Such a epic performance. Even though we could not hear them singing well, the voice and energy of the crowd and the fact the we know the lyrics was justifiable. And can we just point of how Suga was swaggy/smooth. Seeing him with his brother this time around after being out last year is Amazing!!! AMAs was jus the warm up. Can't wait to watch them next week

The AMAs actually muted the fanchants which I guess is also the reason why we can't hear the boys properly. You should react to the army fancams posted to really see how loud everyone was.

This was by far the best performance of the night, I had genuine tears of happiness in my eyes during it as I was just so happy seeing the lads having fun and interacting with armys after 2 years, and it made me so happy and made me just so proud of how far they have come.

I picked the right fandom to be a part of!!! The guys were awesome last night, from the moment they hit the red carpet to the ending with Butter, they are a class act!! I felt like BTS owned the AMA’s and I was so happy to see them perform live and in person! I really enjoyed the entire evening. It felt like a fun celebration of music and true entertainment!! All I have to say is MIC DROP!!! Their “bag” is slap full of trophies!! 🏆🏆🏆💜💜💜💜 and I can’t be happier for them!

They were having so much fun that it was infectious...I could not stop smiling. And I didn't see Jin jump even once when the "fireworks" went off 🤣 !

I was so proud of BTS. And got such a kick out of the enthusiasm from the crowd. They definitely got the loudest and longest cheers last night. And the cameramen were so involved in showing how blown away and engaged the audience away they forgot to film the entertainers.

This performance was epic!!! That murdered the AMAs and took names... so proud of them the deserve all the awards and all the love. That have worked so hard to be where they are at. I wish they knew how much we support them and care for them.

I think we have been spoiled with the high quality of camera work from the Sth Koreans along with high quality performances of BTS. Hard not be critical. Finally recognition for their musical artistry otherwise the AMAs would have lost all credibility and they knew it.

First time back in front of Army and you could tell they were sooo happy. And also probably the first time Coldplay felt the actual full presence of Army as well. You should find the fan and some people took where you can actually hear the crowd.

I highly recommend checking out the fancams. I was disappointed with the AMA video and sound, and then remembered that this has happened before and looked for the fancams. Some of those fancams literally gave me goosebumps!! The sound is sooo much better!!! Borahae!!!

The camera work on this show was horrendous, they didn't do anyone justice last night. But our guys shone through like they do every time and they WON ARTIST OF THE YEAR!! When Jin grabbed JK after he forgot what BTS is going to "focus on", I lost it! Loved it all!

i really wish you could've been there to see this all live with us! not only did it sound better in person but the energy was amazing & the moments of them living their best lives (Jin dancing!) during the battle of boston made it one of the greatest nights ever!

So proud of them...their performances and their wins. I loved getting to see them perform at all, but the camera work could definitely have been better, and the audio...I don't think they understood how loud Army would be.

AJJ, I agree with you. 2 years ago I felt like we were in trouble. The states are NOT producing good music anymore. Even if you don’t know who BTS are (get out from under the rock!) you can’t tell me that performance didn’t get you moving! Not one swear word in the whole song (English or Korean). To me it doesn’t matter what they sing, they bring joy to my heart even for this old lady (just turned 70 on the 13th)! Back in the 60s there was a song by Three Dog Night called “Joy To The World” that really describes their mission. Call me crazy. It brings me so much joy to see how happy and comfortable they are here in the states! The down side for me was the entire nation got to see this broadcast 3 hours before I did even though I just about 350 miles from the show. If I had known that I wouldn’t have watched the red carpet although, it got very loud when BTS peeked out at the entrance of the red carpet. One of those who was interviewing down the way mentioned that BTS must be here because it got very noisy! On a side note, I have REALLY missed you guys. I live by myself so I have been watching previous reactions just to get some good feelings! Forgot to tell you, RM slipped during the Vlive that a new video would be dropping around the time the Grammy nominations are announced. He corrected himself hoping no one heard but by the look on the other members had on their faces he knew he blew it!

I am so impressed with Chris Martin. He lead the song but then stepped aside and let BTS sing their parts. A true gracious wonderful person. Mad props to Coldplay!!!
