Members of the Butler Senior High School Television Production classes, in collaboration with Perspectrum Studios, worked with high-speed cameras to learn how the equipment works and how the footage can be used in film and commercial productions.
In this segment, students popped confetti-filled balloons at normal speed, but the high-speed camera footage plays back in incredible slow-motion. This exercise allowed students to better understand "frame rates," and how videos are recorded. Many of these clips were recorded at an astonishing 30,000 frames per second!
