What ?? Wtf does fire have to do with this . That's the stupidest frase I heard when describing something that's good🙄🙄🙄. The stupidest way I fucking hate hearing that
@@rekinmartin9293 Biggest difference tho, is the uniqueness of the artists he's been able to work with and his ability to make beats that literally match them to perfection. Not saying Dre couldn't do the same, but Timbalands unique range is on full display with artists like Bubba sparks, Missy, Aaliyah, Magoo, Justin Timberlake and Nelly furtado just to name a few.
People are just people no matter what the skin color is. This world wouldn't work without one another sort of like a chain. God created one race the human race. He says we are all created equal and that's the end of that.
One white boy sucking at fake rap didn't change any racism. This is pure crap but if timberland stood to make money off of Bubba looking and sounding like an idiot he was up for it.
This song just popped into my head when I looked in the mirror before hopping into the shower, I'm not even lying. It still holds up after all these years
"If you ain't trying to live....you with the wrong crowd And if you feeling brave...then better sport that thong proud If you finally breathing...then sing this song loud" *Signed Legend*
Never really appreciated this video for what was at the time, but now I see it. The mixing and blending of two worlds, it really shows how much he understood his rare opportunity. When you take a second to think about the song and video, it's actually kinda beautiful because he's showing you, unapologetically, what he comes from, places that people turn their nose up to, to this day.
Exactly. Feels like the whole theme of the song is that what we city slickers see as "ugly" has its own beauty. Look at all the people just having a good time, not looking like supermodels but still living, and living good. I prefer the city, but I absolutely see his point. It's not a instagram model lifestyle, but still good living. And very unapologetically south.
@Loyal Philly fan An Easier Time, that's for Sure. 2002 to 2007 was almost like a Second Renaissance. I'd even tact on another two years and say 2009. But from then you could almost see the fall off.
@@msrobyn82 It is a clip I saw on youtube....it was the breakfast club or one of those radio live shows. He wants to leave greatness and adopt Dog Crap! Such a waste!
They don't make it like they used to. Black , white unity . It was about the music no cussing, no look at what I got, just simple. "And if Bubba dies to night know he was smiling." Love it. Much love to all.
The more successful, or most successful, producers / labels / etc… are the ones who don’t care about skin color, just the musical talent (easiest & most famous example is Eminem, and how his label didn’t want a white rapper, but Dre heard his talent, not caring about his skin, or the famous yellow jumpsuit he wore when first meeting, as they mention a lot) . I always liked Bubba and him representing where he is from, not trying to go all Hollywood or whatever you want to call it.
I remember listening to this whole album, No skipping of any tracks. I loved his album and this song. It was true Down South Country Hip Hop. It was fun and lyrical.
We could. And would be if people would stop watching the bullish lies the media constantly tells. Believe it or not most ppl aren’t racist and most ppl want to just be peaceful and happy. If we remember that, they can’t control us.
This record is one of the best rap albums ever made. If you were lucky enough to enjoy the album before seeing the videos it was so much more than just "hick hop". Bubba was legit AF...cosigned by Dungeon Family, Missy and Timbaland. This album and the Dungeon Family album were the soundtrack to my high school years.
Now i'm sitting here, 20 years after seeing this video for the last time. Rewatching it and hearing that beat again.... wow. Timbo is one of the best producers ever! Bubba dope too!
Tim had the midas touch during this run, fr everything dude pumped out was a banger. Bubba Sparx dropped a gem tho too, you know it was a cut when black clubs was even bumpin this shit
Yeah I was 19 or 20yrs old when this came out. Damn all I did seriously was play basketball, party and fuck. Lol I worked a little too.....:)

@@heybubbah yup, with enough time everyone says that about songs they grew up with. I remember this was considered “wack” rap at the time, now people remember it differently.
✌ Peace & respect to Bubba Sparxxx and the other rappers amongst the joint for sharing their spirit's beauty and talent by the attached joint mimicking ways about some females and males talk and or make moves.
OPTIMUS PRIME i just come by it on youtube i wish i didn't i listened for 10 seconds i don't know how the fuck it got 10 million views the bloke can't rap for shit and they all look like a bunch of hillbillies and that bloke with the 2 rats on his shoulders he has got a head you just want to smash
i was living in athens with a couple of bubba's best friends when this dropped. andy was at work with timbaland most of the time, but when he got time off he'd go see his mom then party with us. he was so legit. my best friends were his best friends, and he'd just rap about the shit we did every day. he could drink you to death, poppin zannies and smoking them camel lights. good times. blurry memories. one day i got a call that my granddad had passed. it was prolly ten am and andy came into the apartment (fucker had a key everywhere he went!) and saw that my face was all red. he asked me what was wrong. we cracked open a handle of Beam for pops and talked for about two hours and i cried and he let me and was just down af when i needed somebody to be a bro. he probably doesn't even remember that day, but i'll never forget it. he was kind of a celebrity, ya know? one of the most famous people in athens, anyway. he had a hundred places to be having fun, but he spent time with me bc i was hurting. he's good people. you won't read about that in the Source.
Dude for real thats super down to earth wish all famous people were that chill I've met alot of my idols and everyone is an absolute disappointment nothing what you thought I'm glad most of the southern white rappers tend to be on the level jelly struggle church Adam bubba demon
I think so many people were happy that the big 2000 black out didn't happen (y2k for anyone old enough) that 2000 and 2001 was a pure party year well it was for me anyways lol.
