This is a slightly better way to do it than my personal method of spamming bubbles and jumps like crazy until Jupiter aligns with Mars on a Tuesday and finally make it up.
What?!? Whaaat?!??? This level destroyed me as a kid! I think I only beat it a few times without the Game Genie, and I looooooved this game (still do). Please excuse me now, I'm heading over to my NES to master this level!!!!! Also, thanks for showing the level code at the beginning :)
Dude, me and the wife have been playing this game on the wii for a few weeks. Its a classic for her and we’ve been stuck on this round for a few days. I’d just like to point out how much I hate you for how easy you made this look. Wtf
Thanks for the comments. I know this level is an infamous chokepoint, but if you are patient and learn the air currents of the stage, it's not so bad. I personally hate Levels 81 and 83 far more than this one.
Impressive! All you have to do though is overload the middle with bubbles and they will start pushing up. Use the bubble jump and then add another bubble or two against the middle walls to bubble jump on and get to the top. Frustrating level
I remember that some of my cousins suggested that I should wait until some bomb appeared on this stage, but I think they misremembered that part, because I am pretty sure that this stage never gives you any bombs.
Bombs and many instant kill items are spawned by an intricate series of bubbles popped or enemies killed a certain way; so you might have popped a bunch of fire bubbles in level 53, and but because you jumped on bubbles 20 times a peppermint popped up in the next level and moved it over. It also might have a random factor thrown in there. Also you probably killed the one enemy enough times and dying and starting over that it might’ve triggered another level breaking item.
Yeah, I was actually playing this stage with my little brother yesterday, and we did get a bomb item after a few seconds; I think that it was the Book Of Death.
