Great video! I have two questions: 1. If you are building an app that users sign in and store their data, do you have some idea of how much users he supports until you need to upgrade? 2. You can code on Bubble to fulfill some feature that is lacking on it, or you need to code in a third-party API?
Hi Alisson, the plans aren't based off users your app is supporting. You can see a full breakdown of the differences on Bubble's pricing page (bubble.is/pricing). You can either build extra features yourself, use (or build) a plugin, or connect to a third party service via API. I hope that helps!
I was wondering how you would use thunkable as native and bubble as webapp together? Everything points to firebase but there isn't a a low code/ no code tutorial on how to get that set up
Hi Stanley, that's a great question. I'll keep this one in mind for future tutorials because I know it's a big topic. Thanks for commenting about this.
Can i create a LMS (learning management system)& SMS (SCHOOL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM) and integrate a virtual library ??! This is my dream project for my business cuz i'm struggling with online learning thanks for your help!
I have an idea for an app that helps you track how much water you drink and reminds you to drink too. I'll need push notifications, stat tracking, and more. Do you think bubble is good for me?
Hi! Is it possible to create alerts like notifications or like a whatsapp call in bubble? I need to build an app with a match between someone searching for a worker and workers who have the exact competencies in the database. It's not a traditional job search app, it's really done with the match for last minute jobs. Thanks for your videos by the way!
Hi Kelly, yes you can build notifications and match-functions into your app. You're welcome to check out our resources here to help get started with this: coachingnocodeapps.com/resources
Hey Jerome, if you haven't seen our free training on how to get started with your app, that's a great place to dive in: coachingnocodeapps.com/free-training-sign-up
Hey there! Yes, there are quite a few places I've seen showcasing apps. Bubble has a showcase on their own site, as well as a PDF document for investors with other specific examples that you could find on their site. There are tons of apps being built, though, so you're probably not going to find a single concise list of all the apps built on Bubble...try a quick search for "bubble app examples," and that should help you get started, at least in terms of apps that aren't just being used for internal business operations, which many are.
Hi Akhil, start by creating a data type for Conversation and a data type for Message. You can add a List of Messages field to Conversation to organize messages that belong together. Then, you can use a repeating group to display a list of Conversations and another repeating group to display a Conversation's list of Messages. That should get you going in the right direction, but you can also check out this template: forum.bubble.io/t/showcase-the-messaging-template-the-responsive-base-template-by-littlebay/48935?u=romanmg
So if we don't have API from 3rd party then noway to integration? in the sample: My company still have database from another app or web, so how way I can connect to this database?
Does an app that asks for users' addresses have to be PCI compliant? Please note that addresses will not be accessible by users (public), they are ONLY for internal use. Thank you
Hey Daniel! It depends on the specific features, but you can definitely have video libraries like Netflix. One of our clients has built something similar.
@@coachingnocodeapps Is it possible to customise the app in a way which i like ? for example If i want to restrict my users from taking screen shot/screen recording of an app and if i want to restrict my users to login in only one device. I'm planning to develop an e-learning app so is it possible to develop an app through bubble with such features which i mentioned above ? Please reply
Hey Krissie! You'd need to use Bubble's servers. They use Amazon servers, and you'll have a few different options based on your plan: bubble.io/pricing
Hey there! Yes, you can. You'd want to check with 3rd party wrapping services for any native-like functionality you'd need. Here's an article with some context: coachingnocodeapps.com/web-apps-native-apps-pwas-and-more
Hi Raymond, it would depend on the specific functionality you need. If you need offline capability, that would be the first thing I'd look into. For native apps, you'll need to "wrap" a Bubble app using a 3rd party service like Go Native or Phonegap.
Hey Jerome! You can make most types of apps, including games. It just depends on the specific types of features you need. Handling heavy graphics/animations would be hard.
There are tons and tons of app builders out there. Bubble is the only one I've found that gives you so many options and can handle so much. I don't know of one that compares in terms of what the platform allows you to do without any coding. That doesn't necessarily mean Bubble is the only option. It depends on your app. If you don't need the kind of customization Bubble lets you do, it might not matter.
Hi Julian, you'll need to wrap your app using something like Phonegap or Go Native. Take a look at this article and pay close attention to the "hybrid apps" section: coachingnocodeapps.com/web-apps-native-apps-pwas-and-more
I love using bubble but the sign up and sign in workflow is a joke and it’s so annoying and it doesn’t look good on a mobile device especially when I check it out on my iPhone
+ Coaching No Code App How much on average should you expect to pay a developer? And would I need to hire a designer as well? Lastly, if creating an app for Android and IOS using Dropsource, would you suggest just hiring a developer from them to simplify the process? Thnx
Hi Nathan! It really depends on your goals, needs, priorities, etc. Here's an article that goes over whether you should hire a developer, how much it'll cost, etc: coachingnocodeapps.com/how-long-does-it-take-to-learn-bubble-and-how-much-does-it-cost. In terms of hiring a designer, it's the same thing. What are your goals? Are you building an MVP? What level of design do you need? There's unfortunately no one-size-fits-all answer for that...it really depends on your needs! You can always hire a developer to do the work for you. The benefit is that you won't have to learn and do any work on the app yourself. The drawbacks are potential time (trying to find a developer you like working with), cost, speed, long-term reliance, etc. The article above should help you decide. Good luck!
