This one and the Avene compact spf 50 are my favorites. I don't even use foundation on top. Thank you for doing these shorts. It's always nice to have other options.
Just went and picked this up! Super excited to try it. Tough finding a good mineral spf that wears well alone and under makeup!! This one is so affordable too
Hi Jen! How are you, I watch your vids shorts and UTube and I love them and your honesty and wonderful personality! I’m 72 yrs old and love beauty products and skincare but living on a fixed income, I have to stay with mostly drug store brands except what I get from Ipsy glambag plus add ons and the Boxycharm my daughter sends me monthly so I’m pretty much full to the ceiling with all of this! I have the Bubble exfoliator and the cleanser. I really enjoy both! They leave my skin so clean and smooth, ready for toners, serums, essences, etc. I mean better than most of the other possibly hundreds of cleansers and chemical exfoliants I’ve tried! I got this one the first time I saw you test it a couple of weeks ago! It's perfect for me with Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream on top for just a little more coverage and a good consistency match. No pilling or streaking, no caking or flaking. My 64 year old face actually looks a little glowy without looking or feeling greasy. Nice recommendation Jen - thanks!!
I found it difficult to rub in 1/4 tsp to my face. But once I did the finish was very shiny/wet that doesn't dry down. Setting powder takes down the shine and it wears nicely and looks good. Just a bit of effort to get there
Love this series! I am always looking for a less expensive mineral sunscreen than my holy grail Elta MD 46 Clear. I love it but it has gotten crazy expensive.
Jen, could you include a note on how each sunscreen wears throughout the day? Sometimes mineral sunscreens decrease the wear-time of makeup, so I want to get one that doesn’t do that. ❤
Hey there, Is there any way you can link the sunscreens from the previous videos you liked, maybe of the say, a score of 8 and above? There is only one shade in the tinted version. I’m really fair, so it’s a bit too dark for me. Once I put makeup over it, it’s not noticeable, but I couldn’t wear it on its own. They do make a non-tinted version which I’m going to buy to wear a no make up days.
I always put my sunscreen on my eyelids too, and I’ve had no issue with this one. No stinging or burning, but I usually only have that problem with chemical sunscreens and not mineral sunscreens.
I just checked the ingredients list and it didn’t show any added ingredients on the list. It does have some floral extracts in it, which may give it some natural fragrance.
I took a chance and bought it. It has no fragrance. I’m hypersensitive and I don’t smell anything. It really does go on beautifully, and my makeup looked fantastic on top of it. The only issue for me is that I am very pale and the tint is a little dark so I can’t wear it alone, but I will continue wearing it under my make up. Complexion looks better with it than without it
@@belindacinca7275 Yes, it does have a scent and it's not pleasant. I bought it after seeing Jen's review, and it was too tacky for my needs, plus the scent was off-putting. HTH!
They have a non-tinted version. I’d love this one, but it is too dark to wear on its own. It works OK under make up though for me. I’m gonna buy the non-tinted version to wear on no make up days.
