Oh yeah, that intro is LEGIT. This is Oomori Kinuko (Priss), and the seiyuu for Nene and Linna, here, correct? They sang really well live and it's a shame that Oomori-san is pretty much retired these days, because I bet she'd sing these songs just as well now. Though I know she was none too pleased with being only known for BGC. Either way, hearing these girls singing just makes me so happy!
I've already a goose bumps just because of this intro. This is one of the greatest songs i've ever heard in my life!! Priss and the 'Knight Sabers' is just AWESOME!!
doh!, you are right, I did forget about Say Yes. I'm convinced there has to be a full recording of the whole concert and I'm dying to get it. The Hurricane Lives are on DVD now, so you can get it and watch it again. :)

@MsNinian1 You are right about everything. Ms Sakakibara rarely did any singing live. What I liked though about the singers/ voice actresses is they almost looked liked there characters of the Knight Sabers. I have been a real fan since 87. Also can watch the episodes in japanese without subs.
@PerianArdocyl It was similar for me. :) I re-found Star Blazers at a Star Trek convetion after years and years, and that spurred a friend to pick up Robotech, and from that combo we were all hooked and I liked the music. I heard about BGC, but it was only subbed, so we avoided it. But once the Hurricane Lives were released, and it was all music, I grabbed it. We almost deciphered the story from the videos before the dub was ever released. lol
Let me guess here. I'm sure that the pink clothed woman is Michie Tomizawa (Linna). The yellow, short haired girl is Akiko Hiramatsu (Nene). That leaves Kinuko Oomori (Priss) in the STUPENDOUSLY large shoulder pads. Hmm, no Yoshiko Sakakibara (Sylia) in this footage?

My guess is the japanese likes to base the characters on the looks of the Voice actors. I heard that voice actress of Nene has the same body measurement as the anime character Nene, including her weight. labelashavoc (:~>?=

I doubt that she saw those outfits the way we see them. Is difficult to understand why Japan promotes seiyuu in groups or alone, and why in such a childish way. But I think that for them is not embarassing. Maybe she had some work to do... like a new suit?
