I was just watcing your previous vid with the cute doggo haha, very curious as to what you're doing here exactly cause I have no idea what you're doing. Oh is this like school related?

Nutshell Studios I'm glad you liked the dog video! So what I'm doing here is showing the first couple steps of transforming what's called a "Buchholz Hydra". I posted a link about them in the descriotion, but the point is that all hydras eventually reduce down to just the "plus" node at the top. However, it usually takes a really, REALLY long time to get there. I just thought it would be nice to make a visualization for one.

kaihoutan I'm glad you like it! I used Sketchpad from Autodesk. It's a really useful drawing app and it's free.

how fast does this function grow

BH(n) grows like the fast growing hierarchy with the TFB ordinal: f_ψ(ε_(Ω_ω+1))(n)
