Man.. i haven't checked on this guy since his days as a pretty much unrecognizable underground hip-hop rapper on a label called anticon in the late 90s... which had a super small and niche fanbase. To see he pretty much went on to have an actual career as a real commercially viable artist signed to a major label was/is definitely a surprise. Thing is...even back then...his music was never really my cup of tea even tho i get it... And can see why ppl like it. Whatever the case... Kinda cool to see he went on to have some real success in the music industry.

Beautiful tune, lyrics vocals and video is so perfect for each other. One of my favorite and one of the most underrated canadian artists along with matt good and k-os...

it's strange how seeing this filmed in 4:3 makes it even more nostalgic somehow. Definitely one of my favourite songs from Buck's recent material. It was lovely seeing him perform this in london a while back.

I never actually considered he may be a ghost.. that's a good theory actually!! My guess was that he's been at sea for a long time and his wife/gf is missing him but she's also lonely and seeming seeking the company of others (thanks to being cajoled by her girlfriend apparently).. He finally makes it to shore and makes his way to her only to find her intoxicated and unable to welcome him back. Your theory could be right though, Perhaps he was lost at sea and drowned.
