As a Winchester representative in Victoria, Australia in the 1970's, I had access to the complete Winchester product range. My absolute favourite was the Mod. 70 in 22-250 with a Weaver 3-9v wide view with sniper reticule. I still dine out on a Hare whose head I took off at 355 (witnessed), paces putting the cross hairs between the tips of his ears. Such a sweet combo. Paul, my second favourite brand has always been Sako who have always & continue to make such great gear.
Here in Washington State the 22- 250 is only a varmint round, we have a bullet diameter rule. I bought a tikka t3x in 243 win and it works very good. Thank for great video's.
One very good little cartridge, with different twist one can use heavier bullets also, but as it is a 60 grain Partion is a excellent bullet in it if factory twist like it . Perhaps the best varmint cartridge out of the box to be found.
That’s made short work of those rabbits in that calibre! 😊 My .22 FAC Daystate Pulsar with ATN 4K Pro 5-20 requires a bit more precision & certainly doesn’t blow them to bits! 😂 Although this is ideal for vermin control when dealing with high numbers and at the longer ranges 👍🏻
