@@phoenixnmhesq Bora Bora and Mo'orea may look similar but they provide different experiences. The list could go on but here are a few. Bora Bora's water is absolutely and beautifully blue. The backdrop of Mount Otemanu with the blue lagoon in between the resorts and Otemanu is so stunning. We could just sit at the beach or deck, and stare at it for hours. The resorts are fantastic and services are top notch. Mo'orea has beautiful water as well, but in my personal opinion, not as blue. But if that's a con to anyone, Mo'orea makes up for it with luscious green mountains and waterfalls. Mo'orea doesn't have the outer islands like Bora Bora so the major resorts are on the main island itself. That allows us to rent a car for our time there, go hiking, and easy access to local restaurants. We only tried one local restaurant in Bora Bora and about 20 local restaurants in Mo'orea. Based on my conversations with Bora Bora locals, they said restaurants in Mo'orea are better tasting and my experience agrees with that, unfortunately. Needless to say, they're both wonderful to visit and I hope you do if you haven't yet!

Hi! Yes, leis provided at arrival are smaller and usually just necklace types (not crown). Per Four Seasons' concierge, flower crowns run around $75~100 and fresh made to order by a local vendor. Coincidentally, we were graciously gifted by Four Seasons as we were celebrating our anniversary. No doubt the one we received was beautiful, but we noticed the ones made to order have more flowers than the leaves. If it were me, I would totally spend extra to get the custom-made lei/crown for photo shoots. I hope you have a great time!

Hi! Yeah we did. We used Abbott BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Ag Card Home Test purchased via www.emed.com and was accepted for return to the US. You should double check just in case the rules have changed. If you do decide to use at-home COVID test like the one we used, you may need to use the resort's upgraded WiFi service. The free version was way too slow for video conferencing with the Abbott representative.

Surprisingly, there were no mosquitoes at the resorts. We carried our small bottle of repellent everywhere but never had to use it while on the resorts. We brought our own because it's DEET-free. Four Seasons also provided a bug spray upon request; although unsure if it's DEET-free or not. There was only one time that we saw mosquitoes in Bora Bora, which was at the motu (small island) we visited for coconut demonstration during our jet ski excursion. That was the ONLY time we saw mosquitoes.

Thank you! We had to save a lot for this trip. A few days in LA, 5 nights in Sofitel Mo'orea, 5 nights in Bora Bora, car rental, food, spa, and excursions it was about 25K! We booked through Costco, which saved us thousands of dollars! 100% recommend going to Bora Bora and booking through Costco!!

I have watched all of the Bora Bora one and have to say yours definitely one of the best out there and so helpful since we are wanting to stay at the Four Seasons. ❤ Saw you guys booked through Costco travel, did you guys upgrade your room to Mountain View? We will be booking through Costco too and noticed they only offer beach view. Thanks!

Hi! First, thank you so much for watching and I apologize for such a late response. We never got a notification :( I hope you're still planning and you find my response helpful. You will not regret staying at FS Bora Bora. We did upgrade to Mountain View. On the CostcoTravel website, it only had details for the beach view. But when we called, Mountain View, Beach View, and Lagoon View were all available at the time of booking.

Hi! I used GoPro HERO8 which is waterproof to 33ft per its description. The newest version is now 11 and it has the same waterproof depth. I'd recommend getting the 11 or 10 if you're looking to buy a new camera. Wow you have an awesome itinerary! Hope you get awesome photos and footages.

Thank you! You guys are going to have an awesome time. That one is a full day snorkeling tour. We bought a three-activities package with Moana Adventure Tours/Bora Bora Romantic Tour. Highly recommend the full day snorkeling tour! All of their guides are awesome. We had Naki and Maui as our various activities’ guides.

Did you book the activities through four season or outside of the resort? Second question did you have to book it in advance? Before you arrive to resort ?

@@Tokioriie We booked it ourselves ahead of time but I'm sure Four Seasons will accommodate. Their services are top class. We strongly recommend you book in advance and booked ours about a month in advance. That allowed us to plan our itinerary more freely and gave us more options as dates get taken over time. Worst comes to worst, there are numerous tour guides, like Lagoon Services, Vitamin Sea. Even if you don't get a chance to book until arrival and no dates are available with Moana Adventure Tours, other companies should be available and Four Seasons Concierge would be very helpful in that case.
