At long last, I was able to catch up with Yankee Tango, the famed Lufthansa 747-8i! This bird had topped my bucket list for airside shots for years and it finally worked out. Enjoy!
Sweet video as usual, I am envious of your ramp access. I have heard that ET will not be coming back and EK’s whale returning is doubtful, so any news on NZ or EVA..? DFW seems to getting a lion’s share of new service, Finnair, Iberia, Turkish and BA’s A380, li’l old Houston is getting little love lately.
ET is definitely not returning. They sent a 777F a few months ago to pick up their remaining infrastructure at IAH so they're history. EK 380 is out until late 2022 at the earliest (I don't think it'll ever come back). Haven't heard much about NZ or EVA. With NZ now a COVID police state, I can't see them coming back. EVA is a toss-up. And yes - I need to get to DFW soon!
@@Astro95Media Indeed about NZ, I was pondering a trip to Kiwiland and OZ once the routes (NZ and UA) reopened, but NZ’s PM Jacinda (Horseface) Aldern has a taste of power and she likes it. Ditto for the government in OZ, especially ‘Dictator Dan’ Andrews in the state of Victoria. So, maybe next year, hopefully the electorate in Australia and New Zealand will give these tyrants the boot, ditto for our own situation, November is rapidly approaching. A shame about EK, I was hoping that big bird would make a return. But seeing that we are not seeing a 77W on the route, says volumes.
@@cameraman655 Agreed. Hopefully the citizens there turn things around for themselves. But yes - the absence of even the 77W for EK says everything. We're nowhere near needing a 380.
