Buckethead knows the massive potential that the electric guitar can give -and he exploits it to the most with his uncanny physiology and genuine musical ability to devastating effect .Beyond good.
A few years back I was able to see Buckethead, w/ Brain and Brewer @ HOB Anaheim on Halloween night. Absolutely life changing. This genius is 1000% Real! Wooooow!!!
1:29:30 after that pitch, it makes me cry 😭 my girlfriend died ... 😭😭😭😭😭 thanks Big B! for creating beautiful and super creative songs! sorry my english, i'm brazilian. 1:30:51 ... keep it up ...
I've seen Yngwie and Buckethead live, both in Columbus Ohio. Let me just say that Buckethead is on another level, he was more entertaining, weird, and just amazing. Yngwie was also amazing, he kicked guitar picks into the crowd while he shredded but there's something that separates Buckethead from Yngwie. Kind of like Jesus and God.
Haha Jesus and God is a good reference! I can also imagine Yngwie kicking that pick into someones eyeball. Totally agree that Buckethead is on another level., he's the complete package.
Well, All I can say is I don't think there are any words invented to describe wot I just watched Buckethead perform, absolutely magical .Wot a gig that was.
To play all of these so cleanly and flawlessly is a masterpiecie in itself, but to come up with all these riffs and general ideas about guitar playing and tone requires godlike skills. I am a huge fan of Buckethead since I've had foound about him for the first time. All music I knew until this time is not existing for me anymore. He was also my inspiration to try playing once again after a couple of years of being only a listener. I am jelaous of all you guys living in US and having a chance to see him live. You should do it as often as it is only possible for you as there will be not a single individual as him for probably a very long time. Buckethead 4ever!!! I also very much appreciate this RU-vid canal as it is the only onw focusing so much on Buckethead who is a mystery for all his fans. NatterNet 4ever!!!
To watch a concert with no vocals but near perfect cohesion between the 3 wielded instruments is a rarity in itself. I'm quite embarrassed to not have heard or come across the lead guitar player, tho he's of the same age group as me & I pretty much partied hard in my younger days to heavy stuff...... I'm now totally hooked. Buckethead must surely be All the known guitar maestros Wet Dream!
Buckethead has chosen to hide his identity behind a MASK & SILENCE thus avoiding any compulsion to EXPLAIN ANYTHING. And this way he has created MANY POETS IN THE COMMENTS, which happens to be THE REAL WONDER! Thank you, Lord, for this guy PROVIDING THE WORLD WITH OUTSTANDING MUSIC! Best regards from Germany!
How or why the tube threw this at me tonight, New Years Eve, I'll never know. I'm 53 and thought I knew everything. It's been a rough ride this year folks, I miss my Grandparents and my Mom, God Bless America. Going to finish Encore now. 11:16 pm 2022. Stay safe.
The GOAT never ceases to Immensely impress ! & Every show to me is simply Stunning : Spectacular and Surreal ; Awesome; Amazing ...etc Kick Azz!!! Thx sooo much Natternet for the super way cool video❤🤘🎸🎶👏
They say you need someone to look up to when youre learning to shred. Buckethead is my no 1. Looking forward to play his songs in the future. Im 32 and theres no time like now to learn. I finally have discipline, thanks to you my Lord. No more video games and alcohol, just a bucket on my head
This is an unbelievably fantastic show! Thank you NatterNet for sharing this with us. I hope someday Buckethead and his friends will tour together again
Lets all have faith the heart condition thing gets better. His parents died, he has gone through more than enough, and still he gets that heart problem. Not fair
Agreed...and I think all of that, one after another would stop anyone in their tracks, but with Buckethead he just keeps on going with albums, tours, interview, the man is a Robot....a Giant Robot haha
I was lucky enough to be at this show! I've seen Buck about 10 times over the years and this was by far the best! 1st time about 1990 with the Creeps was mindblowing but this Mystic show just kicked so much ass, I've had the audio boot for years and it just never gets old. Too bad the trippy intro isn't included, I love that.
Just heard of him in the last week. Had an old music instructor that said, 'to be good is to be in sync, but to be great is to let the instrument sing.' 2nd time in my life that I heard someone able to do that with buckethead.
La verdad yo siento que su mejor show fue en colorado en 2012 , cuando la toco la versión más conocida de soothsayer, siento que había mucha emoción en ese concierto y toco muy melódico.
Repeating what everyone else has said. BH is on a whole different level of guitar and musical skill. This man is a genuine genius and very cool to top it off. One of a kind. Totally bummed out that I just found out about him Sept 2021. I've missed so many chances to see him play in person.
It's the question of timing of arrival on the scene. As of now, EVH reigns over all others because he was the original. I'm very sure, if BH had ante dated EVH, no one would have cared for EVH or Satch or Vai. But, where it is due, EVH was a big daddy for others who followed him. BH is a worthy successor.
Most of these songs seem rehearsed, but "Sultans Massacre" seems spontaneous and ad libbed. Watch it from the beginning: Butt House seems lost and confused; Brain takes a long drink of water; they seem to saying, "What are we doing? Where is this going?" I doubt if any of these pieces are written down; they just start out and see what happens. (Of course, I could be wrong; but keeping me guessing is part of the fun.) I watch and listen to this concert very often; I agree: It's his best, or, at least, my favorite. His Mesa Double or Triple Rectifer makes the difference; it's the right amp for him.
Wow great energy on the sound indeed, even on my temporary reserve plan-B crappy headphones until I go buy my normal ones again... For this quality of sound, I remember back in the day I used to listen to this great bootleg recording called Live in Mishawaka or something like that, still have that one in my memory, good times
