Buckethead Album: Look Up There (2011) Track 2: Look Up There *** Here i made a "Buckethead: 'The Greatests' " video: • Video I would be appreciated if you take a look at it. *** bucketheadbeonw...
+Cagri TASTAN i see it from the opposite side...only few can understand..appreciate these masterpieces ..only rich people buy jewels ..if u get what i mean :)
Cagri Tastan As natural likeable & addictuve it seems to us, as complex and tiresome it seems to others. From this perspective, simple music for simple people will always have more succes than complex and rich in talent music.
One part In There did remind me of all end of along the watch tower probably just me but it sounded beautiful and like it was a response or calling out to him lol
I love listening to bucketheads songs with really long solos and going through youtube comments saying people love bits at certain times on the video and i go to those times and listen :)
This is actually the second and third song of Pike #5, there's an 11 minute track that precedes this one entitled Golden Eyes. So in total the album is around 33 minutes long.
The main reason I enjoy Bucket's music so much is that he puts his heart and soul into the music he comes up with, which i tend not to see very much anymore. Also his ability to play so many different styles of music is what puts him above many other musicians I listen to.
totally agree! i can never get bored of buckethead because he does so many different styles and songs, but people just dont see it and they think he can only shred
Exacrtly. Most of his songs are faded out in the end, he must have played in this key for hours and we get a fraction of what he chooses to put out there
And despite all the nostalgia and grief it can made us feel, this music led us all here to share what we feel. You're not alone man, we feel and listen to the same music thousand of kilometers and sometimes several years apart from the other but we are still connected through Bucket's music Love to your art Buckethead !
I have always been into music. Never have I been so blissed out! I have seen him 5 times, been at his feet, hit the killswitch @ 2 concerts, exchanged toys 3 times and have had tears of joy! My friends don't get it. I do not want to see him unmasked or talk with him. Being at his feet during a concert gets me high for months!!
After listening to this song like 15-20 times I still have no idea of the story in it ... can be a man's life ... can be a cosmic flight ... can be ... A masterpiece by all means !
Don't try to find stories in bucketheads music.... If he wanted to tell stories he would have used lyrics.... Bucketheads music is all about emotions rather than stories.... Instead of asking 'What does this song mean' ask 'what do i feel after listening to this song'
@@alphus195 I definitely disagree, if there no were story he wouldn't write songs about his family, famous people (Lebron, ODB), or places (Disneyland) which are allegorical. An instrument after all has a voice, to say it's not communicating anything of meaning is untrue. Choruses can be memories, verses can be dreams, melodies can be images in the mind of an artist. Kind of seems like you're missing the point entirely actually, that the instrument IS his voice telling his story. Music is about emotion, but it's also about so much more than that. Buckethead's music at it's core sends the message of hope, beauty, curiosity, gratitude, humility, excitement, passion and vulnerability. As does the way he behaves non-verbally onstage.
I feel blessed that I get him! 3 new Buckethead Pikes released!! Such a range he has. Many of my friends had and have gurus who touch them, I was always a bit envious, until I got it with Bucket! I could pick him out in a crowd by his hands. I have studied them for so many hours. You are blessed too because you also feel him. He truly makes me happy. I listen to him everyday!!!
the emotion and depth of the track is insane. this shit stops time . this song should be played at each corner of the world. this should be played at the United Nations meetings. this is the type of music that makes life worth living. BUCKETHEAD FOREVER YOU CAN'T STOP THIS MAN!
Herculean effort !!! EPIC !! A 21 minute guitar solo that could have gone on longer. Who else would attempt this except Buckethead. Emotional, gripping, masterful, soulful - truly one of a kind. I cannot think of a single guitarist alive or passed that can create amazing song after song, album after album, be so productive, so creative, year after year. And with Buckethead Pikes another 5 albums !! Amazing !!
I cant put it into words but the way the song builds up to 20:47 until the end is what makes Buckethead my absolute favorite. I have never head such raw emotion from any other guitarist.
I totally agree with you He produce music like a machine and he explores many styles. I'm happy I discovered him by a Facebook friend, she placed a song I found very trashy...but I listened some more and then ...the revelation was taking me like I found a big bowl of candies. After a day of Buckethead I thought this guy play music as he breath. Fantastic.
I'm quite confused by this "KingKook" guy. lol First he compares buckethead to tribes in Africa and their poorly made drums composed of deteriorating wood, and scavenged leather from some indigenous animal of the area. And, then, compares this to Stairway To Heaven? Are you serious? Maybe I didn't get the twenty-one-minute-long version of it, or something. Also, this guy probably doesn't even know that Stair Way To Heaven wasn't even originally created by Led Zeppelin. Look up Spirit, 1967.
I feel like I am really lucky to be present at te same time where buckethead is still alive and releasing music. This talent, this kind of music it's definitely unbelievable. I really hope it can survive forever. This song means a lot to me. The things I get through my mind when I listen to it... I can't even explain it.
It's funny because I hear an amazing artist playing an amazing song, watching his viewers enjoy the song to the full extent, and watching a bafoon assulting someone on their own song when they clearly came here just to do that. It all depends on what you definition on skillful, talented, or an artist is. Anymore, we try to put lables on everyone and everything; myself included. Just take all music for what it is worth and if you so happen to enjoy an artist, follow em.
I was 10 when Zep became huge here in America so I was spoiled rotten with rock music growing up but Buckethead reinvigorated my love of music with his beautiful melodic rock guitar, I start out everyday with light in the fog.
Climbatize 91 none in the world compare? i like to think Satch is just as technically gifted as Bucket. to this day ive not heard one Satch song... or buckethead song for the matter lol... that i didnt like. Satriani is a wizard. as is his pupil Steve Vai.
There is something so beautiful...yet honestly, so very sad about his songs. There is so much emotion in each song, sometimes I feel like crying, and other times I want to light my city on fire, flip it off, and laugh as it burns down. These are emotions I only feel when listening to bucket Head.
the weird thing is the song touched me when it just started i become a little bit emotionel just amazing buckethead your such a amazing person your songs are like souls that touch people in a good and fine and relaxing way buckethead your amazing
I found this gem while going to ranker.com to see how Buckethead's "coupon" was doing on ranker.com and saw this. How seven people could down vote it amazes me. If you haven't heard "Coupon" give it a try. Teach Peace and love one another. Cheers!
Having been one, you become many; having been many, you become one; you appear and vanish; you go unhindered through a wall, through a rampart, through a mountain as though through space; you dive in and out of the earth as though it were water; you walk on water without sinking as though it were earth; seated cross-legged, you travel in space like a bird; with your hand you touch and stroke the moon and sun so powerful and mighty; you exercise mastery with the body as far as the brahma world
OMG, every time I go on youtube and listen some buckethead song, I discover a new album (and I have a lot of albums from him >.> ) Happy to know he continues to create some epic stuff
i care what both of you said, but CorneliusCorporation's comment was easier to answer, i just give him a thumbs up, but i had to educate your negativity, because you wouldnt be on this upload otherwise, i dont like boxing or football by the way, so i dont watch it, simple, you dont need to listen to buckethead.
