Anyone else feel like they can tap into emotions more readily than at any other time when listening to Big B? What an incredible gift this guy has. A bonafide genius.
He is truly remarkable. He has found a way to reach into the souls of his listener's and find their deepest emotion . It's like a spiritual awakening or something. lol.
hey fellow bucket bot your not the only one thats been there I been dealing with a brea up for a couple months now and it still sucks for me at least. just know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. stay strong mate and listen to the bucket.
For those wondering, Coniunctio or The Conjunction is a term used in alchemy to describe the union of two elements, often the feminine and masculine, giving birth to a third perfected element. In Jungian psychotherapy, the wholeness is attained by the conjunction of two opposites. After listening to his interview, I can just guess that Buckethead has been working on this process with Barry Michels. Maybe this Pike is just a step in this process, but maybe it means that he has reached a state of balance. Either way, it is a beautiful piece of music.
I thought buckethead was recovering in bed decided to record this. You make it sound like bucketheads typical religious experiment, man made false excitement
I love you Brian. Your music always reminds me to truly feel what I am feeling. Nobody brings me back to myself better than you. I hope you have the slightest idea about how many people you have touched through your music. Cheers to you too HumanoBeing, for uploading all of this stuff. Much love to you all
I think this is the pike that he'd talked about on coming alive podcast. He said " I recorded a record with my friend. I just lied in bed and recorded it, because I felt like, I'm here still.". It seems the guy on the album cover is himself too. It's his head on the pillow ...
When you compose an ambient soundscape that chronicles your post-operative anesthetic headspace, you’ve officially reached the pinnacle of artistic expression.
Nice been awhile since one of these styled pikes came out. Always loved these ones the most. This is some haunting stuff. Reminded of the elusive Pike 13 sound
some sounds from pike 13, supossedly recorded one day after his heart ablation still in the hospital and under the influence of the anashetic ( 2017). lovely piece incredibly peacefull
LOVING the classical influences i hear in this pike. makes me wish BH starts composing music for a full orchestra. what if that's the next step for him? :D
Hey bro that's true, What happened with PoliPoli8?, Why his videos were removed from his channel?, Is he still alive?, Did he create another channel or a new website???, Come on bro, I don't need to sleep, I NEED ANSWERS PLEASE!!!
This is same vibe I get from ‘live’ version ‘Bytor and the snow dog’ (the middle section sounds like ‘mile long sheets of ice) All the worlds a stage album, Rush 1976. Bucket-head goes on longer with it. Buckethead totally plays classic space rock style. Buckethead, in his own way.
I actually think there's more going on here than in TRACE CANDLE, which, for all of its beauty, can get boring, too. CONIUNCTIO, on the other hand, incredibly minimalist as it is, does give you lots to chew on, in a gothic-horror-soundtrack kind of way.
This might be an album he made just after he learned he was ill. Makes this album quite a bit more insightful than "bluh it's just sounds and ambience so boring"
Mby his... cuz of hearth problems... i dont know when did he find about it..... he said he was writing some songs afther so mby this is one of that songs.
Although not my favorite genre used on his Pikes (should I say) it's certainly interesting and pretty good, but I wonder, does he use guitar effects to create all this ambient stuff too? or is it just with special software and other instruments? O_o
Max Silver bucket is a great guitar player but his ability to create sounds combining different pedals makes him a genius. Listen in all his pikes there are unique sounds. To me that's why he's so incredibly....
Anyone know if Big B is drawing these album covers himself? I mean, they're a little more complex than his typical stick figures, but still evocative of his style.
Also, photoshop and vector programs can be downloaded by anyone now. With the frequency of his albums getting released it's only fitting that he switched to vectors as well.
Some random guy faked being buckethead and striked down a video on poli's channel I assume poli privated all their videos so that the random guy couldnt strike anymore videos and get his channel take down
Tom Sawyer This man devotes his entire being to music, releasing dozens of albums a month(!), which makes him an unparalleled artist. Let the guy earn his bucketbread by releasing ambient tunes that calm the nerves and help some of us get through the day. No need to be disrespectful towards the man beneath the bucket
Tom Sawyer WTH, you can't choose 271 other pikes to listen to? He has so many good albums, so don't be a wet blanket and complain saying that this one isn't music. Use your head!
To earn the title "Artist", it's not simply joining some notes hear and there from a keyboard. Anyone can do that. I can do that, but I'm not an "artist". At some point, the "Artist" has to show his ability with his instrument and his ability in creativity. Both are missing. Buckethead is a great Artist, no question about it, but in this case, he owes the listener more content. I'm a big fan, but this does not interfere with my ability to build my own judgment. Because that is what art is about : to think about it : This is New Age BS
