I've liked Buckethead for a long time, he's put out so much music that you're bound to find something you'll enjoy. It's good for listening but also good for the background while you focus on something else, something about instrumental music just works better for focus I think.
You should check put his Song called Jordan. Rocking groove. Amazing solo. Would love too see more bucket head here, especially Jordon. One of my favorites from him. Last I check, there arnt any good quality live videos of Jordon. Studio Version is killer.
BH has over 300 albums of original composition. Every song takes you on a emotional journey that you never knew you needed. His masterpiece is a 30 min song dedicated to his mom called "Hold Me Forever". Super humble dude who hands out toys to his fans at the ends of his shows, is a master of the nunchucks and robot dancer. He once recognized a youtuber in the croawd that does covers of his songs and invited him on stage and gave him his guitar to play a song. If you want to see another great live song though check out Siege Engine or Gory Head Stump.
His real name is Brian Patrick Carroll. Soothsayer was supposedly written for his Aunt when she got sick. He doesn't drink, do drugs or even cuss according to everyone in the music industry that has worked with him, they all say he is totally clean. He's in his early 50s. He gives out toys at his live shows, loves Disney, dances the robot and does a live nunchuck routine. He also kills it on bass and plays piano. He's done all kinds of music with all kinds of artists. He has a bad back and a heart condition that could kill him at any moment, sadly. He's kept his face hidden since the 80s and there are only a couple pictures of him without it There are also several pictures that people say are of him, but are not, floating around. The mask and bucket help him to play and have a career because he says he would be too scared to play in front of people without the Buckethead persona. I'm fascinated by Bucket and could go on, but just check out more of his incredible music. I recommend Jordan live at the culture room on redpill3720 channel. That one song is a great example of his virtuosity and demonstrates several techniques he is known for like playing with a kill switch, "nubbing" or tapping with 4 fingers, an amazing hybrid picking section around the 253 mark where he plays with the pick and his fingers at the same time, and more. Thanks for reacting to Buckethead! Subbing.
The GOAT. The most humble person you'll ever 'meet' - well no one really meets BH, you experience him. I'm 55 years old and fortunate to see him play live a few times. He's truly an amazing person.....during 'intermission' he'll bring out a bag of toys and hand them out to people while his fans bring toys to him. He lets you play his kill switch on the guitar ..... the fans are by far the nicest people you will ever meet. Dive into his music....it'll change your life. So much said in his playing and never a word uttered
Buckethead is such a deep rabbit hole to venture down, such a wide variety of musical genre's. This is a good demonstration of bucketheads speed but it doesn't really show of how unique the guy is. I'd like to see you react to something like Empty Space or The Treeman 😉. The Buckethead community is pretty wholesome too
Buckethead is the GOAT, hands down. But as amazing as his technical skills are, his compositional skills are equally impressive. He's got over 3000 original tracks spanning everything from metal to easy listening and just about anything in between. Hundreds of tracks that are legitimately great. An undeniably genius musician.
If you 2 want to hear the mother (no pun intended) of all buckethead songs ever I'd recommend Pike 65. Might be too long for a reaction (28 min) so just listen whenever you have time. It's dedicated to his mother who sadly passed, so as you can imagine it's 28 minutes for a reason.
Hey glad you enjoyed it! His backstory is something along the lines of ‘he’s a robot who was raised by chickens’ he does obviously has a real name but I find it takes away from they mystery of him. There are a lot of good suggestions in the comments so if you want to listen to more pick one out and you won’t be disappointed!
I was wondering when we will have some buckethead content ! thank god for hearing my prayers lol ! keep going this channel will grow ! I believe in it ! cheers awesome reaction (yes he's fast ;) )
Buckethead is THE MAN !! He just recently had His guitars stolen too which absolutely sucks ! This Dude is the real deal. I envy You seeing Him for the first time.... EDIT: Keep in mind, He can't see His guitar through the mask. I love His buttons !!!
Congratulations, you`ve just reached the guitar virtuoso`s level. There are still many bosses to conquer but Buckethead might be the greatest of them all. Check out Yngwie Malmsteen, another legend who`s a virtuoso at the guitar.
Just think how fast his brain has to work to play these solos..... he improvises every one of them live, and he's been playing this song every concert for like, over a decade
This is your first reaction to Buckethead? I’m really happy to see you react to this mystery guitarist, he’s my favorite guitarist, Adam Jones and Buckethead are in a constant game of tag for the number one spot on my favorite guitarist list, Buckethead has made some beautiful masterpieces.
He's one of only like 6 artists I know that have released over 100 albums, and one of only 3 that I know that have released over 300 albums. Dude is insanely prolific, and dips his toes in every pool.
How many albums does Buckethead have? Buckethead's extensive discography currently includes 519 studio albums (488 of which are in his “Pike” series), one live album, four special releases, five demo tapes, three solo DVD video releases, two DVD video releases with Cornbugs, three music videos, three solo videography releases, and 16 videography releases with other artists.
He is as good as good gets. He has anxiety and stage freight. The mask and bucket are his fidget spinner. Tons of artists have same issue and use their own coping ways hair in face, sun glasses on in pitch black room. Most public performers have same issue just how they cope is not as obvious to people.
“He’s got the wah pedal” bruh this guys board is equivalent to david gilmour and don’t forget that he has a disconnect button between the pickups and the amp cable.
Jordan is absolutely amazing, it shows off buckethead's weird ass nubbing technique that sounds like a computer crashing, and his killswitching. Watch the live version at the culture room, you won't regret it
He's a real different cat, very impressive individual but not for all to relate. I love the guy he's different in all ways. Loves his family, loves his fans and never swears.
