i love avocados and eat them a lot but here in usa they are 1 usd for 1 avocado and u got several for .60 cents...wow.im about to begin my world travels and sri lanka is def on the list for sure....here in the usa if u want to buy something u get bent over...

@@FrugalTravellers I did the trip in 2011 from Toronto to Vancouver. I just got a cheap double seat option (the 'Coach' option), which only cost the equivalent of $543. Kara and Nate have just done the same trip on their channel and paid nearly $10,000!

Another wonderful train video from SR! 🎉 Loved every moment. Would be curious to know what a first class ticket gets you since it didn’t appear to be available. 🤷 Nonetheless, 2nd class had great value and quite pleased Lee didn’t show us how the ‘bum gun’ worked! 😂😂 Our trian ride back in 2018 (had to look it up!) was very crowded (standing room only), full of tourists and much older rolling stock. Don’t think on-board food was available either. Definitely worth another ride should we be lucky to revisit SL. 🇱🇰 Thanks for the video. 👋🏻

Hi Lucchesse 👋 Glad you liked it. We had a wonderful trip. I don't believe there was a first class option on this train. From what I can gather, they aren't that special anyway but I'm sure the prices are still very reasonable. I guess we got lucky because I've seen other people's videos where they've took this route in either direction and they've been packed solid and couldn't get a seat. 🙏 It's a magnificent journey and worth any discomfort anytime. 👍 Hope you get to return one day. 🙏

Hi Mandy & Lee, It was a pleasant journey by train but 7hr of constant rail noise must give headaches 🤯 Instagrammers do silly things for the "perfect" photograph, that girl surely trusted them grab rails with her life. I personally prefer the scenery in Sri Lanka than in Thailand, but again each country has its own charm. Hope you're keeping well, enjoy your week 🙋🏻‍♂️

Hi Sergio. I know what you mean about the noise. It was quite deafening but you tend to get used to it after a while. The locals must really laugh at the silly foreigners who seem to prefer to be hanging out of the train than staying in it. 😆 The scenery really is spectacular but gentile without being too extreme. I could happily spend many more months exploring deeper. 🤔

Waaaooooooow perjalanan yang mengasikan dengan pemandangan yang menakjupkan . Waduuuuh itu pintunya kok dibuka dan ada yang duduk disitu lagi serta mengeluarkan anggota badan waktu berjalan dengan kecepatan tinggi wah wah wah sangat berbahaya itu kawan .
