20 minutes. You can take MARTA to Buckhead Station. Buckhead is nicer but not walkable. Best place to stay is in Midtown which is halfway and very walkable.

Southern cities are all like this. Empty and extremely lacking in character. Atlanta, Houston, Charlotte, Phoenix, etc. I don't have much use for them. The northeast is where you want to go for a busy city.
