Wonderful, rich vocal timbre.

Anything that doesn’t serve Jessie’s unique, sweet voice is a needless distraction at best, a crime at worst.

Sometimes time seems to stop while you contemplate wonders like this. I'm a little envious of the lucky ones who were present at the show.

Hold up. Jessie Buckley sings too! Was there some kind of global conspiracy to keep me from knowing that? Well cat's out of the box. I only knew her as an actor who kept showing up in things on my need to see list, first Chernobyl, then Fargo and recently Wicked Little Letters. In each I didn't realize it was the same actor until after when I looked at the cast list. In each she became the character in exactly the way other actors can't because they can only ever be themself playing a part. And now singing too? What's next? Cold fusion? A cure for cancer? World peace? Are there any limits? Also love that semi hollow ooombroo ooombarroo guitar timbre in the hands of a masterful player. So good.
