I don't know if this was a intended season 2 or 3 story and condensed for the arcade. Given the show was in 1991 and lasted 13 episodes in that year before cancellation that it's possible (this being out in 1992) was an attempt to conclude the story. Story certainly felt satisfactory with the showdown on the two big bads. Of course willy is stuck in that universe, but it's likely they figured something out if it was a TV run.

One of the best arcade games and one of the last Konami made with licenses! 🎖️✨💥✨🎖️ Too bad it was never released in a home console system! Hopefully now that Konami started with those collections perhaps we are really close to see it in a console! 😉

He was stuck at the end of the TV show as well. His parents turned off the Photon Accelerator on Earth because they didn't know what it was or what it did.

The final boss had to be hard as balls. This is the only time that the stakes were so high. KOMPLEX never got the proper showdown in the comics or TV show.

"Thats a laugh!"...yeah, the corny sci-fi acting is a laugh alright! I watched the cartoon as a kid in the early 1990's, enjoyed it, but never have had a chance to play the arcade game as it was not available locally and I was saving my money to buy a Super Nintendo, so I never bought the nintendo game until about 20-25 years later.
