👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏Thanks a lot , I used to take care of maintenance of a series 2 in 1978 , equipped with Cat 3406 ! Was a machine with clam shell dredging a river in Brazil, I was 24! Memories😍😍👍👍👍👍👍👍Congrats for the video 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Good stuff. Thanks PA. 5 Hour Energy and a half bag of sunflower seeds in the cab. Better not let me climb into some unit and find spit seed hulls all over the floor.
NICE! Looks like new paint. I ran 22's and a 30. nothing bigger around here and the 30 was a drop ball. NICE rig. I always got along better with manual other than air but if it was paying the light bill, I'd adjust. Thanks, Pal! BLESSINGS!
The isolated cab must be nice. @8:22, the brake peddles look like those found on an American. @10:53, the track adjustment at end of track frame looks like it is near the outer limit and wide gaps can be seen between the track pads around the pins, so she has been walked a lot. It is hard to tell the condition of the machine until you feel them while they are working. This machine does appear to be clean and straight.
Amazing video as always! Is this one at a show or is it being used for production? Surprised they made draglines this size that late - was thinking that they would have transitioned to backhoes and front shovels when given the option. Why would they prefer draglines over the others?
No this unit was actively being used at a sand operation. I think in all the years I've went to one of those hcea shows and they just aren't for me. I would imagine they was a decent market for a 5yd machine still for them to keep it in production that long
Love old mechanical excavators and cranes. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m2VbXQ7xddI.html - old Soviet EO-5111B crane-shovel (universal excavator - front shovel/backhoe/drag/clam/wrecking ball/pile driver/driller/crane)
That's not true, I know that NASA use metric and most likely many more. Maybe you could put the metric numbers in the video, since it's so easy to convert anyway?
