Bud fell from a ladder when he was painting his house. “I broke my neck, I fractured my skull, and I broke every bone in my face, I fractured my hip and I had a big gash over my left eye,” he said.
Bob, Bud’s Respiratory Therapist at Kindred Hospital Las Vegas Flamingo, gave Bud the encouragement he needed to keep fighting to get better.
“We have no magic pills here and no magic wands,” Bob told Bud. “But what we do have is a good support structure to support your body's gains.”
Even the doctor was amazed at the progress. On paper it didn't look like this was possible. “He's a miracle and you guys had a hand in that miracle at Kindred,” the doctor told the staff. “We really can't thank you enough.”
