It is a great blessing and joy to see the Blessed Sangha, the sacred temples, the Blessed shrines , the beautiful people and other sacred sites in the Holy village.The Mahabodhi temple reminds me of a Divine Mandala that is the center of the infinite universe and a Holy Reminder that it is the center of awareness that one is able to find peace and contentment in a world that is all too often filled with conflict and discord. The Blessed Lord Buddha said in the Dhammapada, " You, yourselves, must walk the path.Buddhas only show the way.Those who are meditative, who have gotten on the path, will be free from the bonds of mara."In sum, the Blessed One is pointing out the prime importance of focusing on the center of awareness similar to the Mahabodhi temple that towers high for all to see in the Holy village as if to say, " Here is the Center and the Sacred Seat of the Buddha ! " Om Buddhaya Namah !
