Alot of these quotes apply to nerotypcials as an aspie with adhd OCD intrusive thoughts bpd insomnia stuck song syndrome it's almost impossible to let go of things or stop negative thoughts intact if I tried the opposite would happen. I love Buddha and believe it will work but some humans minds are so damaged that nothing can repair or bring them peace. Love Buddha though they all make sense and bring positive energy and would bring peace to people.

If they can make us angry, then they control our emotions and actions.;you become their puppet and can pull your strings or press your buttons any time to make you act angrily against your will. In short, you literally become their "slave". Stoic philosophy teaches one not to always react to other peoples negative actions because other people actions are not in our control.What is in our control is our response to an event. We have a choice whether we respond to other peoples negative actions or let go and focus on what matters in our lives. it's not the negative events that cause us pain , it's our reaction to the event that cause us pain.
