If youre happy with 1080p for gaming (and why not, still has a lot to offer) then this looks like a fantastic option for those who are looking for a cost effective monitor. Yeah haters will go on about the size of the panel but some people dont NEED a 27" one, a 24" one is just fine. Thanks Mike and Kath 🙂
Sorry bob, but I'm a hater. My minimum size is 27" I had a 24" once and went to a 27". Never looked back. See you tomorrow in the Live Stream mate. Take care. Cheers
Personally I use a 21.5" 1080p and it feels like a nice size. If one day I can get a better PC I wouldn't want anything bigger than 24 or maybe 25" to be honest. 27" would probably be too much for me. My only personal worry is how good the image will be. 1080p in 21.5" looks nice for me, but of course the pixel density will decrease in a larger monitor, like 24". Sadly there are no 24 or 25" 1440p in my country. I guess I would need to see a 24" 1080p monitor in person. I assume it's probably good enough though
@@mikesunboxing Been shopping at M&S and trying to get rid of some of the weeds.Long job because I get breathless after a few minutes,so l have to stop while I get my breath back 🙂Hope your blood count has settled down
Nice review, MSI does make good monitors and so do Benq. I love ''high quality'' 1080p monitors and they also allow you to play at high refresh rates without breaking the bank. I've never been fussy over picture sharpness not being as clear as 1440p when it came to gaming. My only issue with 1080p is that it puts way too much stress on the CPU while gaming. I have my 7700XT literally chilling out with it's fans not spinning when i play a game, while the CPU does the heavy lifting.. (5800X3D) This is definitely a sign that I have to move on to 1440p in the near future. Maybe ill find myself looking at a nice winter sale this year..cheers Mike!
Interesting review of seemingly well priced monitor! Amazon link goes to 27" high end monitor. So will check on pc. One question is would you see big diff in games if went 27" / 1440p or would items appear smaller? Thanks Mike and Kath 🐈👍
Can you please review the new msi G244F E2. I looked the whole internet but couldn't find the OSRTT test result of this monitor to know it's real performance. Please help 🙏🏻.

Too small for me, 32" is the size I like.. Other than that, a very nice monitor.. Cost more than I paid for my LG 180hz 32" IPS nano led screen, but that was used (only for a couple weeks though)..
What about motion clarity in the UFO test? I want to buy this monitor but I'm not sure about the motion clarity and response time. I'm struggling to decide between this monitor, the Viewsonic vx2428 and the AOC 27g2sp.
not used the gigabyte model so hard to say really, but if it is like the 27" model there won't be much between them so i would look at your loacl pricing and warranties otherwise they are both very similar so either is a good choice at the same price range
Thanks for the quick reply, really does tick every box for my needs then •viewing angles •fast refresh •IPS •Excellent versatile stand •half decent built in speaker •currently £100 Away to order now, thanks for the detailed vid
Oh by the way I bought the last fractal design define 7 case from one of my local computer retailers here they have 5 stores 🏬 across the country and the closest one ☝️ to me hard it! I pick it up next week! How’s that for luck 🍀?
Went to a job interview today, interview number 8 for the year! 95 job applications and only 27 responses which include those 8 interviews! How’s that for my country screaming 🙀 for workers because there’s a so called skills shortage! Yeah right!
Adaptive Sync is an open standard and FreeSync is AMD's version of Adaptive Sync that typically favours AMD GPUs but also works with Nvidia cards, so although not exactly the same thing, the term is often used interchangeably
@@sherjeelahmed1268the MSI one because it's has 24.5 inch panel and probably better panel because it's 8 bit not 6 bit with frc like aoc and other 23.8 monitors
i usually opt for using the SRGB mode that seems to be the closest to a proper calibration you can get if you don't have calibration hardware and software
Please brother i am an esport player but on ps5, would this monitor be good for comp play? I was going to get it but u worried me with that response time results
