The worst budget till now. Being a CA, I have never seen such a bad Finance Minister. They are just stealing money from pockets pf middle and lower class people

sir, we are paying income tax, GST, LTCG, STCG, STT, Road Tax, Property Tax, Traffic challans, car parking fees, toll tax fees, tax on bank interest income, tax on dividend income, education cess, cess on petrol and diesel, inflation tax, hidden charges levied by lenders and all other taxes as demanded by the Hon'ble Government. We the salaried types are in terrible state. Company cuts the tax upfront and Squeezes the most, then what is left is taken away with indirect tax, gst, etc. We are left with baba ji ka... Sad to be in this country when we pay tax and have NO social Security. Worst government ever.

Stt tax long term should be zero, and long term limit should be 5 lakh exempted, 7 lakh ki salary per koi tax nhi , education loan 5% interest rate, 2 wheeler per 14% GST that should be but we can not expect from this government type this

Sir, how many years did it take for your money to grow after your initial start, and how much money did you start with? I'm still not clear on how big investors like you have made money from a small amount. I thought that without starting with at least 1 crore, it's not possible to make money like successful investors. I feel like even 20 crore wouldn't be possible to make. We have identified many shares in the last 3 years that have given 4-5 times returns, but we invested less, so we didn't get significant profits.

Good analysis. Govt is bent upon milking investor. Milking investors to pay to lazy class who do not want to work. Other point I dislike is small small tinkering in tax slab which means unstablity. This implies last year's slabs were not so much correct. This means you are perpetually having a ever changing taxation system, implying you are never right.
The salaried class that used to save in PPF, Post office at 7.1% and 6.7% , has been shifting to capital markets as the rates of interest were never raised wilfully . Initially, this government indirectly encouraged people to invest in the capital markets and now when thousands of crores is being invested by the common man every month into MFs and securities, the govt has raised the taxes on capital gains . Where should the aspiring common citizen invest? It is they who encouraged 'MF sahi hai' and now getting worried that banks are not getting deposits. Most cunning govt.

In the early days most of the retail investors were dependent on FDs & Real estate, but now many shifted to the equity market so the Govt is increasing the tax. If you make a discussion on the tax structures on equity of the various countries in the world it would be very helpful for us to understand our position.

Western countries have schemes like 401k where you can invest in a tax deferred manner allowing you to grow your wealth and then finally pay the tax at the end when you are withdrawing the money. This government wants it's hafta everytime you rotate your stocks.

Dear Sir, which county will be best to invest. Residing in UK AND INVRSTING IN UK, is better than India or it’s better to invest in UK considering taxation and inter country remittance charges and tax In residing country .

Hello Basant Sir, This is Ajesh from Kerala. ROE = Net Profit/Net worth, ROA = Net Profit/(Net worth + Debt). So ROE/ROA = (Net worth+Debt)/Net worth. Is my understanding correct? You mention that ROE/ROA = leverage. Is leverage not the same as Debt?

As a common man, we have understood from our Hon FM that STCG,LTCG,STT, etc were increased to simplify the tax structure. My next question is whether further simplification is still pending? If so , by what year/years the process will be followed? Really eager to know.
Basant sir, today I made my entire family sit and watch your evening video instead of watching budget analysis on tv channels. I just love your analysis and guesstimates around any problem. Sir someone commented that just hold on to your stocks and sell after 5 years as this government won’t come next time. Bigger problem would be that even the next government would not change this bad setup as the precedent is now set.😢
