Today: Budget BMW E46 330ci Race Car Project Episode 10 - £8k so far! First Drive - Was it worth it!?
After fully revamping the underside with all new bushes and components I finally get to drive the car for the first time after we've sank £8,000 into her!

Got 330Ci'04 for 7 years now and I'm close to 220k miles on it. Original engine, oil changed every 6k miles. I recommend 5W40.

What's the difference between a porcupine and a BMW? I can't say, as you're bigger than me and I might get beaten up! Nice to see all the work and money has paid off. The good thing about not having driven it until now is you get to see the effects of it all together. I think there are loads of diff options for these, so that'll help get a shorter ratio-I doubt it'll be cheap though. 😅

😂 I can see where you are going with that! Yes lots of work but all necessary and it is nice to know its solid now. Diffs are widely available but only the Auto one is a direct fit due to the output or input flange sizes (I cant remember which), it will need a LSD anyway so we will probably go for a custom 3.73 or 3.91 final drive with LSD, looking forward to that! 🙃
