Budget Family Skiing in Poland, Tatra Mountains (Bialka Tatrzańska), so cheap we've been 5 times! 

Sorry for the delay, we were travelling. I believe that the Polish half-term varies across the country. We first went during the first week of Feb and it was very quiet but they said from the next week and throughout Feb it is busy because of school holidays. The worst we experienced was in Feb 2022 as a result of people going post-Covid. 2023 was OK, busy but we managed. Because the skiing is from 9am until 10pm we find we can avoid the busy periods and busy areas.

I think it's expected to open around 7th December but would depend on snow conditions. Last year we went at the start of Jan and there was enough snow. I think later in December would be better but ideally book everything last minute and ensure there is enough snow.

We fly to Krakow as there are lots of options for flights there from the UK and they can be quite cheap. It's about a 90 minute drive to the resort from the airport. Sometimes 2 hours, depending on time of day.

Amazing, thank you. So about a 1.5hr drive to the resort?

@@matty00w1 yes that's what it should take but traffic conditions obviously vary. It's quite a straightforward drive.
