Economy direct flights to Maldives are available from almost all metro cities of India. Direct flight from Delhi to Male (capital of Maldives) is of 4 hours. The stop over flights are generally via Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochhi.

2) Private speed boat either pre booked or send from the Resort where you stay. Fare range between 220 USD to 1500 USD.
3) Ferry speed boats (fare between 25 USD to 800 USD)
4) Public Ferry or "Dhoni" (cheapest mode of transport between 1 USD to 15 USD)
Sea planes and Private speed boats are available will receive you at airport. For Speed boat ferry and Public ferry you have to come to Male.
In 2009 Maldivian government gave permission to run guest houses in inhabitable islands. This proved to be a game changer for both local people's economy and travelers looking for perfect family destination and that too in budget.

Speed Boat Ferry will leave from Male ferry terminal (as do all ferry speed boats) at 4:30 pm and its running time is 45 mins. The fare is in between 25 USD to 35 USD.
Public Ferry will leave Male's Villingili ferry terminal at 2:30 pm and reach Dhiffushi at 5:45 pm. The cost of Ferry is just 2 USD.
Dhiffushi has wide range of accommodation. Right from luxurious Ameera Maldives to budget guest house Bibee inn, Kafu club, and Rasu hiya.
one thing is common in all they all have beautiful view and sea.
I stayed in Bibee inn, I love location and music of Kafu club and food and Hospitality of Kafu club was amazing.
Bibee has beautiful open lounge situated right on top of velvety white sandy beach. Free Kayak, Ray fish feeding is the highlight. Nearly all water sports activities and lots of amazing excursions are available in this beautiful island that seems to be coming out of postcard. Dhiffushi is just 950 m long and 250 m wide. Its a surety that beautiful Turquoise water will be always in your view wherever you stay in Dhiffushi. The nearest resort island is Meeru Island Resort which is just lest than a Km north of Dhiffushi.
