This All Powers Bi Fold 100 Watt solar panel caught my eye when it was on sale for less that 150 dollars. Soon after the company reached out to me to make a video on it, NICE! Is it worth considering, lets find out.

I have this panel, bought it along with my Jackery 500 last December. It was my Christmas & birthday present to myself. I like the price point. I like the connection accessories that came along with it. MC4 for the win. That alone is like a bonus $25-$40 gift that comes along with the panel. Output wise I can't complain for the price. Best thing I like is the portability to take on picnics, fishing and camping.

I got the 120WATT bonsaii SP1003 for $87 (currently $120) on Amazon. In April, in NY, I got 86watts while paired with my Oupes. It says it’s ETFE). Just a friendly FYI.

Tell you what, after hauling 67lb panels around the yard seeing you handle the portable makes me jealous! Hopefully I won’t be moving my panels for a while. They wouldn’t be so heavy if they weren’t filled with fluid. Well done video, love that it had the proper adapters for you to connect to multiple power stations.

The all powers panel runs my bougerv 30qt fridge cooler and the energizer 320. This solar game has me feeling like a kid again. I'm looking to tie solar game in to my electrical business

@@AskIveSolar Well I'm a licensed electrician and there are some customers who are interested in solar. I have ideas by looking at other solar videos and putting brain power together. It can be worth trying. I would love to explain more. I just hate to give up my idea. However I enjoy your videos. You should build you an array on pallets with wheels for all your panel in the driveway. I will draw that up and send it to you if interested

That's a good set of accessories for a folding panel! For those power stations limited to 65W input, this looks like a decent enough choice. Though a little flimsy (especially in any wind), those legs are probably adequate. They probably cut costs by not having the usual USB circuitry on it. FYI that really small adapter is for something like a Suaoki or Marbero power station (e.g. my Suaoki S270).

Yeah Im gonna use the anderson cable on my oukitel.....I hope its rated appropriately...thats my only fear / hesitation. But I was just talking with Setite who said that wire gauge and amps is applicable to all cables...where as I was wondering if it was different DC and AC. *shrugs* I think it should be fine but I havent given it the requisite thought to put me at ease.

It was "trash" according to the Mrs because it was fading a bit. I get it, lets not eat off of it but its still undamaged. I dont like to put my power stations on the ground so...plate it was.

Great PV modules and testing of them for the solar generators. I just don’t like the wobbly legs but they seem to produce good acceptable power . Check out my previous solar videos . May the solar be with you .

@@AskIveSolar You forgot. I had mentioned this before. ALLPOWERS does not stand behind their products (at least, their sogens ... #myopinion). They make false promises, including offering FULL refunds (not any refund/replacement ever materialized). Oh, AND, want YOU, the customer, to pay for any return shipments ... although, they, supposedly, offered a warranty, with guarantees. I am NOT their only victim ... look at their KS campaign(s) comments (why I don't think that KS is allowing them to crowdfund on KS, anymore ... why they, now, crowdfund on IG). I still have emails, including, screenshots of their emails, that I made, etc. Again, speaking for myself, I am, now, stuck with TWO (useless) bricks of theirs.

At least it has legs. My Dokio is a nightmare because of the lack of legs, and I'd be happy with any legs especially since there seems to be no decent option to add legs.

I have a 60 watt panel with no legs, that video is coming next-ish. I feel you. But with this panel is a little compact one so you cant even lean it against something because its 3x2.

@AskIveSolar
@AskIveSolar 2 года назад
It depends on a bunch of variables. 1. I'm not into portable panels because of the price and outdoor limitations. 2. If money was right and I needed a panel...maybe especially if I had a 60 watt PPs 3. If I had the coin or already had a sufficient panel, probably not. My life and logic is a bit complex with regard to these things. Ha

I bought two of these solar panels in 2022 to charge Bluetti power stations whilst travelling in a camper van. Both panels failed within 4 months of use. Allpowers did refund me and asked that I dispose of the panels rather than return them. With my purchase fully refunded I took a Stanley knife to one of the panels and the wires and components inside, the soldering and connections are, in my honest opinion, of the poorest quality imaginable. Cheap and flimsy products.

@dronescape9991

As they were identical panels with the same output voltage I often hooked them together using Y branch parallel connectors. Location was Greece last summer, sunny days everyday. Allpowers support is very good but unfortunately their products (including their power stations) have reliability issues. I now use Bluetti products for off grid power. I made a short video of the Allpowers panels. I'll post the link in a bit!
