The pocket hole joinery with wood glue makes a super strong cabinet. Nice job with the stain as well! Keep up the great work as the goal is for us to continue to inspire others to build something awesome!👍🏼

Thanks for this video. This is a well-designed and relatively simple vanity. I ended up making some modifications to my version; primarily expanding the width to 30 inches to accommodate the space we have. The modification I am most pleased with, however, is that I set the shelves in ledges I screwed into the frame sides. They are still flush with the frame's side pieces, but now they can be removed to work on the plumbing.
Another nice project! Your DIY videos are very helpful and just simply healing to watch. Plenty of good ideas for building customized and expensive-looking projects with economical materials.

Great build! I may do something similar. Vanities at the big box stores are crazy expensive and cheaply made. I'll try out lap joints for the doors, though this project could be a good excuse to dip into my stash of Kreg screws.
I've discovered that if you want to use those fancy Euro hinges or anything like them, go with an overlay door or prepare to be frustrated. Inset doors do not appear to work well with them. I have a project nearing completion where I have an inset door in a face frame. Attaching these hinges to the face frame was a major pain and after fooling with it over a period of days, I finally gave up and used traditional hinges which worked out fine.
Thanks for letting me know! They are definitely frustrating! Thankfully the traditional hinges work well instead! If the magnetic door catches didn't work for us we would have tried a different hinge!
The hinges are supposed to do that, it's so they hold the door closed properly against the frame and takes up any error. If the hinge held a perfect 90 degrees, then a tiny amount of out-of-square would cause the middle of the doors to not meet perfectly. If there's a mere 0.5 degrees of misalignment between the hinges on each side, then a hinge that held a perfect 90 degrees would cause a misalignment in the middle of 2.61mm if the door were 300mm long.
Love it! I'll be starting this project in about 2 weeks. You did a great job! Where did you get the premium 2x2 and 2x3's? Can't seem to find them with the sharp, clean edges. I only see stud like wood in this size. Appreciate your guidance.
I got them at Home Depot, we used premium wood for the 2x2s! I would recommend finding out what day of the week your local home improvement store gets their lumber in so you can get a better selection to choose from!
