I want to reiterate that they have a lot of wigs, and many reviewers have reviewed for them and their wigs definitely seem worthy of checking out. Unfortunately, the color discrepancy between the picture on the website and the wig that I have received has taken a bit away from what I think is a VERY nice wig that sells for a very nice price for human hair.

Hey friends! I am going to do a bit more digging on this company and try to find out about other people's experiences with color from them. It sounds like other reviewers have put out reviews similar to mine saying the hair is nice, but the color did not match the picture on the site. That is a problem and I may need to do a follow-up video so please stay tuned. I gave them the benefit of the doubt on this piece but maybe that was too generous. I'll follow up as soon as I can!

I am waiting too. I was going to order...but then seeing this. I can't afford to get taken. How do you explain color to them anyway? I mean saying you want this color or that color....? They should....they should have color rings from some well know synthetic brands so that someone ordering can tell them what color they want by the color ring, and then maybe...just maybe ...they can match it. Otherwise it is just a shot in the dark, right?

I was looking for others' review of this wig and none have had this problem. But yours was the only review from a reviewer I knew and trusted. I am worried to purchase but I did email them and ask if they accept returns, which they say they do. But if it looks SO different from the photo (though again, hasn't for other reviewers) I don't know whether to trust those reviewers....I really want an affordable human wig company!!

I have a slightly different take. Denise, I don't think you were too nice. I thought your review was honest, frank and you clearly stated you were unhappy overall but that everything about the wig was fine. Also an important point is that this might be salvageable. Unlike Jason, I personally don't think they are scammers, this feels more like a very poor quality control issue and they most definitely need to up their standards. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt only because I have watched so many other reviews, but they do need to need to fix this issue ASAP.

Oh darn. I ordered wig 023 on September 1, and I just got an email saying it's been shipped. I am almost dreading receiving it now and I had such high hopes. *** UPDATE: I received my wig on 10/11/23 and it's beautiful! It actually DOES look just like the picture, very much like Gabor's color Toasted Pecan. AND, even though I ordered a 12" length, it's more like 13" in front and 18" in back with gorgeous, soft curls. I ordered a large size for my 22.5" head and it fits well!! What a find! I'm very happy. Now I just need to know how to pluck a part on a lace top. Any advice?

omg I saw you on their website and it was not this wig. You had a very nice wig in that picture. This! beyond words, I have seen lots of great reviews and only great reviews for wigshe and was just about ready to order one. They boast their knots are the best right on their site comparing theirs to be invisible to others being like your showing. So thank you! I would been devastated to get this. I also saw some reviews saying that although they say they do returns they don't and offer a 50$ coupon arguing that they will lose money and so would the buyer (posted on reddit). Thanks for this video and being honest in your review.BY THE WAY that picture that you ordered from is a stock photo and does not come from Wigshe at all.

Love the colour of the blonde but absolutely agree regarding the overall finish of this colour. If they don’t offer returns, I’d either have this professionally re-dyed or use it as a hat piece!

Honestly, this beyond disgraceful for them to advertise a wig so completely different from what the cusotmer actually receives! There are so many ladies struggling with hair loss and they may scrimp and save for something they think is a quality HH "budget friendly" wig only to get something like this in the mail! 😱😱😱It's really disheartening that they would do this to their customers. I can't imagine that they'll stay in business too long if this is their practice.

I was just looking at WigShe again tonight when I came across this video. Since I "know" Denise and have watched many of her videos, this one caught my eye right off and frankly I laughed. The color is definitely a mistake although it looked better outside. Hmmm...I was not looking at blonde colors so I would probably not run into this problem, it's just that WigShe has great reviews w/pictures and their prices for the quality is very good. Thanks for posting this one, Denise, and being truthful. If I get a WigShe HH piece, I'll follow up.

I have watched a number of reviews from WigShe, but a common thread is that the colors as depicted don't match the color sent. I just saw one where the picture was a brunette with ashy blond highlights, but the color received was a strawberry blond--no dark roots and very warm, not ashy. Everyone says the hair quality is great, but no one seems to get the color they expect. That needs to improve before they get a bad reputation.

I agree!! I may need to make another video on this... I am going to do some research and reach out to some of the reviewers. Some women have commented that they are currently waiting for their order from them and I've given them my email asking them to follow up with me and let me know how it goes. I understand that companies make mistakes, but if this is a common theme then that is unacceptable and people need to know.

I have seen another review with stripes that dark throughout by Wigshe. The front might be hard to fix on this one, but some may like that, but it might be hard to fix this front. Thanks for your reviews, appreciate them.

Thank you for your honest reviews. The hair on this wig dried beautifully. The cap looks nice enough. The blonde is definitely too light for those dark roots. In my opinion, it looks like hair that has bleached & a toner needs to be applied. I’ve seen other WigShe wigs reviewed & they were pretty. I hope you’ll do a follow up video if you get the color fixed🤗

I know! That is why I was comfortable reviewing for them, because a lot of others have shared their wigs. I'm hoping this is a one off, but quite a few women have responded they have ordered from them and are waiting for their wig, so hoping they will all follow up with me and let me know how it goes so I know if I should put out a warning about them.

Hi Denise. I would have it recolor ed medium to dark brown and have some face framing layers put in. It's really not a bad looking wig. Definitely doesn't look like the pic.

The color and roots are BAAAD! The hairline is equally bad. Budget isn't really a budget when the quality is so poor. Who would feel good about wearing that hair? It's still a lot of money. It's one of those things where "the cheap comes out expensive ".

Absolutely true , throwing away $ 799 , it is a lot of money 💰 . And ➕ much more if you are from an other country like in Canada it's 33 % more and ➕ taxes . This wig would be more than a $1000 for me . 😢 that is not cheap 😮😢

I totally agree. Before I was told to shorten the time. Sad, you really can't educate our wig sisters just by showing it off. So did you reach out to them all ask them if that was normal or an oddball that slipped through? Are they sending you another one?

I did reach out to them and they didn't really respond. Just said thank you for the video. I didn't ask for another because I don't know if I trust that what they send me will be the same as what they send someone else. I will say that I've heard from a few wig sisters who purchased from them and they were very happy with their piece and they said the color was just want the pictures showed, so many they took this as a learning opportunity and tightened up their coloring process.

This is scary 😨 I once bought a wig on the internet from WIGSE , they said it was human hair and it was not , they did not want to give me their return address , they were from China 😤 so since then , I am really scared on ordering wigs 😮 from the internet . But when I see you talking for those companies , then I am relief .

There are so many scam companies out here, it really is very difficult to know who to trust. I have heard from lots and lots of wig sisters who have been happy with their Wigshe wigs... this one, though, is a caution that they may not be the best at coloring them.

Not only is the color obviously wrong, but so is the cut and the texture. I am a synthetic hair gal because I’ve always been terrible with styling hair. But I wonder, is this how human hair comes, with its own texture and they expect you to flat iron it, or curl it etc to get it to look like their stock photos?

Some do, yes, but I have some that dry BEAUTIFULLY straight and need no styling. It depends on the hair used... but in general wigs under $1000 are considered more budget and often do need styling if this is not the look you like.

I am same situation like you I order 009 Chic blond ombré and I receive wig with very dark brown roots and rest hair dark gray I cry all night when I did open box I took 2 days ago to my hairstylist and she will correct the color the color is nothing what they show at they website. I like the head construction and hair is very soft but color is terrible so I do agree they need to correct the pictures. Respond also at list for me very slow I did send to them email with the pictures from they website and what I received because I believe they made mistake and send me someone deferent wig because the color is nothing like the website 😂 very upsetting to me

I have a similar problem. I ordered WIG004 in the color shown on the product page. What I received was so very very different it was heartbreaking. The golden/red color that showed as a bit of rooting actually came down about 2 to 3 inches to meet the blond. The company only would refund me $30 to have a colorist 'fix' it. They stated they believed it was 90% close to the picture and of no fault of theirs. Like you, the only concern I had wss the misrepresentation of the color I would receive. The quality of the hair was actually very nice. I have reached out and rried to leave a review on the page but have been ignored and the review not posted. Please update us if you find out anymore information. I would love to give then another chance, but am wary considering the amount of money and how this transaction made me sick to my stomach.

Mine came to me weeks past due and was nothing liked the picture and had dead bugs stuck in it.THEY SAID I HAD TO PAY FOR SHIPPING BACK TO CHINA !Then when I showed them the sticky things that did not comb out I suddenly could send it to their Warehouse in NJ. Because I always purchase through PayPal for this reason . My money was returned . Pretty easy to tell these days because the pictures the website shows are celebs and I’ve just learned a lot of misrepresentation from Asian co. And they sell on Amazon.buyer beware.

Yes, thank you!! 76lbs so far, 35 of them in 2023 due to Keto, the rest was lifestyle changes, but Keto has changed my life so much and I feel so much better!

To be fair, I think you should have straightened it after washing, or at least blown it dry. That would be a more accurate comparison.

Yes, for sure... but most people (me included) don't have the skills to do that ourselves so we would have to pay someone and most people would not be happy about that. The good news is that I now have a practice wig and will figure something out and share it with everyone! Hugs!

This is soooo disappointing!!! Not everyone can afford THOUSANDS for a wig: where is in the between?!!! Why can’t we get a decent blonde wig for 800-900 that’ll last decently for a few months? It’s just so frustrating…

you might be correct...but that wig looks nothing like the one in the picture... the one in the picture looks good...that one looks like you couldnt afford to get your roots done.....sorry about that denise

I ordered from wigshe the color was horrible.They do not do good color I would not recommend wigshe to anyone waste of money😢

OMG!!! The wig they sent you looks nothing like the picture of the original wig. I would feel extremely disappointed and mislead as it stressful enough if your hair is thinning and you’re wanting to purchase a wig or topper to make yourself feel better. For this reason I think it’s very disappointing that this company would mislead there customers They are better priced especially as I’m in Australia and was considering them to purchase from but they seem to be inconsistent with the wigs and colour . No offence but what are they thinking the colour isn’t even blended it’s so disappointing.🥰🤔

Omg,😮it looks like you had your hair made very light blonde and just let your very dark regrowth grow out for almost 6 months. Just awful 😢

That's horrible looking. Really bad dye job and hair itself looks "fried" The other part is ethical. If we are buying something like this for cheap, imagine how little money the woman it came from received. I try not to contribute to a human being exploited.

That is a really good point. Where do you think the line is on that? It is something I've started thinking about a lot lately. I'm not sure how to manage sharing wigs with women who simply cannot afford the higher end pieces and yet also not contributing to exploitation.
