Love your lunchbox videos, I even went back and watched your older ones. When my sister was little, I'm 14 years older than her, so packing her lunch was something I did to help out, we'd come up with 5 easy lunches for the week, two hot and three cold. Main dishes like mac n cheese, pizza sticks- just a slice of pizza cut into strips, leftovers from dinner that I'd made, soup and stew in the winter, chicken nuggets and tots and grilled cheese or grilled ham and cheese were her favorite hot choices. For cold lunches, she loved Italian veggie pasta salad, sandwiches with a variety of meat including tuna and chicken salad, green salad topped with anything from chicken tenders to cold cuts and hard-boiled eggs or a yogurt bowl with any fresh fruit we had around and a little pot of granola on the side. And then for sides we'd do Goldfish crackers, string cheese, a little pot of cherry tomatoes with ranch, fruit pots, applesauce, granola bar, mini strawberry and Nutella wrap... That's just my experience with packing lunch for one kiddo that was only a little picky- mostly about the temperature of her food and the 'sogginess' factor of sandwiches and things like that. You're an amazing mom, keep doing what you're doing! Also, eating ham everyday isn't going to hurt your little one; my sister went through a phase where the only meat she would touch was pork chops when she was 4 years old. They had to be baked with a certain seasoning and that was that- it didn't hurt her one bit {she's 20 and works full time at a spa and she's loving it}. Hugs from Montana.

I struggle with lunches for our 3 boys. One won’t eat bread so sandwiches/wraps etc not an option. He also won’t have things cold that he usually has hot like pizza / pasta (sensory/learning issues). It’s really tough giving them a healthy lunch balanced with what they will actually eat 😞

You could buy the pizza finger things. They're not too large and it's a change from ham sandwiches. Otherwise a small pizza cut into slices and get the kids to make them with you. It gets them involved and trying different things. Or... The little snack-size pasties/sausage rolls. How about something fish fingers or chicken nuggets/poppets? Snacks could be the animal biscuits, or something like party rings.

Will they not eat sausage rolls, scotch eggs, chicken goujons cold? You can make pizza pinwheels with puff pastry too. I assume they won't eat soup or pasta in a flask to keep it warm? Crackers and cheese? Cheese straws? X

Nice ide,s I am hsppy that sweden has free lunches in school ipp to gymnasium in school from 1-7 grade it,s not aloud any sugar at all so i don't have that problem with lunches

Lidl do a 4 pack of strawberry & banana fromage frais which I think taste delish! How about southern fried chicken salad wraps? Lidl do frozen southern chicken chunks which taste divine. My mum used to pack cream crackers with dairylea triangles as an alternative to sandwiches sometimes.well I think we used to pack it ourselves actually when we were a bit older. Kiwis are good packed with a spoon. I can't really think of anything other than good old fashioned egg & cress, cheese & pickle or tomato, or cold leftover sausages & ketchup! Yummy! oh how about baguettes. That was my absolute favourite! Crusty baguette with cheese & pickle mmmmm.

Sausage rolls as a sandwich alternative maybe?! Or some cooked, cold chicken strips? Crackers with butter. Mini lunchables. Also for the apple going brown, I use one of those apple slicer things that cuts the core in the middle and then cuts the rest of the apple into chunky slices. Then if you leave the apple whole and just push all the cut pieces back together including the core part it doesn’t go brown and no air gets to it. Don’t know if that makes sense! I do this and either pop it in a little tuppaware pot or wrap in foil. 👍🏻

I was thinking claire its not going to do charlies health any harm in the overall scheme of things having 1 slice of ham 5 out of 7 days my penni can eat a whole packet of ham in one sitting and charlue would be having less than that spread over the week and u know penni is never ill eats anything and everything is the perfect weight and never runs out of energy ..... long way of saying do not worry just give him what he likes it will proably change soon any way its no different in my eyes as you and me having the exact same coffee every single morning lol px

Hi honeybee my daughter loved chicken dippers cold in her lunch box with a garlic or sweet chilli dip .... she still does and when she gets herself a mickey ds she buys a 20 box and keeps about 5 yo eat with breakfast the next morning ... personally i couldn't think of anything worse cold pizza cold sausage rolls etc just dont do it for me however i love a cold hard bpiled egg if i have to have a pucky picnic lunch. I know the boys like eggs so that might be a option ?? Still havent sorted the stationary bundles i will let u know when i do px

Crumpet pizzas are great in lunchboxes! Ham pin wheels if he's a fan of ham. Chocolate spread pinwheels. Make your own lunchable with cheddars etc.

Have you tried pizza pin wheels for the kids? Using puff pastry (As you are looking for ideas for Charlie) if he likes cooked capsicum you could add that, otherwise ham and cheese? My daughter also like a ham and cheese wrap toasted (like a quesadilla but rolled up and toasted)

How about ‘leftovers’ from dinner? Obviously what you can have cold that tastes good? Pizza Bagels?(again cooked night before?) a rice salad with what they like in it? Hot dogs? Homemade Puff pastry pepperoni pizza ? Fab cold !! Salad pasta , again with what they like in it? Hope this helps my lovely I really understand the ‘fussy eaters’ xxx❤

What about Ham & Cucumber sandwich, or something inside a bagel maybe? Even if it’s just some butter in it? Or jam? Maybe tomato based pasta? It’s hard when you’ve got fussy kids isn’t it, mine go through fazes of being fussy but they’re usually just average when it comes to fussiness, but they do eat the same lunch every day give or take a different packet of crisps haha

Does he like wraps or pittas? My son likes sausage rolls and chicken pieces at times too x
