I hope my replacement.25 origin shoots like this. The first one was junk. Couldn’t even get through a whole mag before the tank was empty and the shots were weak!

You should get a flatter power curb with the .22 if you take the hammer spring all the way in then back it up a 3 quarter turn. That worked for me. Shot count came down but power was more consistent. Got a difference of 3 foot pounds from 2800psi - 1500psi

I shoot slugs in mine all the time. 3200 to 1900 psi is my sweet spot. Up to 26 grain slug. Love it!

Great shooting Noor! You have to try some lighter weight slugs in .217 for your Origin. I get my best results with the H&N 21g or the FX 22g Slugs

How do you have your origin 22 hammer spring set. To get that kind of energy on my origin I have to have my hammer spring maxed out which moves my max speed to a much higher psi, somewhere about 2600 psi. By the time I am at 1900 psii would be falling off the powe band.

Out of curiosity cause i dont want to go through all the comments whats the best hammer spring adjustments for slugs and then for pellets id be using up to a 25 grain slug not planning to shoot out any further then 50 yards pellets is a wide variety looking for a higherer fps but with about a 15 shot sweet spot also do u know how many turns returns it to factory setting dont have a chrono yet anything helps thanks

I kept everything at stock, which worked well for both; beyond that it’s really up to you to test and discover what will work best for you :).

What sizes did you use? .217 for the .22 cal maybe and which one for the .25 cal? Nice clear range!

These knockouts are .217 for the .22, 25 gr. The 25 cal are one size only I believe in the knockouts (I could be wrong)

@@TheDollarSportsman For the .25 cal you are right. These come in .251, the only size according to the website. It might also be useful to experiment with the hammer spring.

Not all do slugs; I’ve shot some great PCPs that absolutely suck with slugs. The reason has to do with power level and barrel twist; high power and the proper twist are usually both absolute requirements. Most airguns are designed for pellets, though, so it’s up to the manufacturer to make an airgun with the right specs to perform well with both :).
