Budget Rolex Oyster Perpetual or a Poor Copy? : Citizen Tsuyosa Tiffany Blue Review

I bought this watch in Tiffany Blue just last week and it has been on my wrist ever since. Basically I love it. The look and feel is just fine for me and I have received many compliments on it. I do agree with your negative points but for the price, it still has some fine features and the the dial is just amazing. I live in the US as well and I wish this was more readily available. Thanks for the review. The citizen looks nice, I don't think it looks big on you. Maybe the darker dials would look better. But yeah the rattling would annoy me too. And I don't even jack off all day. Maybe only half the day.

Timing is everything. I was going to order the yellow dial version this weekend, but because I respect your having second thoughts...why can't this be easy?? I'm not concerned with the lack of originality, but the crown operation is a concern. However, I really like the yellow dial and oculus. Decisions decisions! In the end, it's a trade-off. I may get it anyway, but you've made me think. Thank you for your excellent and honest review!

I would have bought it if the lug-to-lug dimensions were smaller and the color was a much richer blue. Any nonrolex "tiffany blue" doesn't seem right; they never get the color right. Also, I only care a little about comfort regarding the bracelet. The main deterence for me is the lug-to-lug dimensions.

My example hacks, I am surprised that this is not consistent. I enjoy mine, the bracelet is very 1970's inspired and it feels it. I have the yellow version. The watch definitely wears larger than its dimensions would suggest.

If this thing got a movement similar to 9000 series or the NH35, then this is a no brainer. The movement is its main downside.

In Europe you can buy any color about 260 €

This watch has a hacking feature. I had it in my hand at one of our local watch stores. The second hand did stop when you pull it to set the hour and minute hands. I think Citizen updated the movement for newer batches.

TBQH this watch needs to be around $250 MSRP, at $299 its entering into the PRX territory which is way better finished. At the inflated prices that people wanted you can just pay $200 more for a PRX Powermatic 80. Also I don't think this watch is inspired by the OP, it looks closer to the Oyster Quartz.

I was really confused whether to buy this watch or not, i was genuinely looking for the negatives which is not exactly mentioned in other videos. So thanks for that, it did help me decide on it

Mine has the hacking feature

It is a nice daily watch comparable to Tissot PRX. Nothing to see with oyster perpetual.

I bought it new for around 230€ so I really can not complain about anything.

Nothing that you mentioned as a negative about this watch was ever felt while wearing it, for longer period. The bracelet is rattling? Why would you try to rattle it? Because when you wear it and even shake your wrist there is no rattling sound. Calling it a homage of Rolex is just ignorance, was tolex the first watch maker that came up with this design? There are many watches who follow this design language and it doesn’t make it a Rolex homage. The watch looks much more expensive than its price. Rolex construction is obviously better but the price they charge is for the brand and the feeling that you get wearing it and that’s a ridiculous price in my opinion.

Your wrist is too small bro a 40mm is not going to look good on you i think seiko 5 make a 38mm automatic that should look good on you

Citizen is Citizen, it does not need to copy anyone. It may or may not resemble another watch model. This does not mean that it copied someone.
