Thanks Andy, I was caught in woods when my plastic type binding broke. I tied it up with a piece of cord until I could get back but then hung them up for decoration. They are now "live" again thanks to your simple fix. It's great to be a backlander. Have a good holiday and winter.
Thanks for the great instructional video. I have an old pair of traditional snowshoes that I had years ago. I used them for tapping maple trees in deep snow. The binding are old and broken. I've always wanted to get them fixed up and put them back into use. This should work perfect. i have a lot of those types of straps to strap down my canoes and kayaks. I'm going to try this tomorrow. I just want to say thank you. I have a pair of snow shoes and the bindings on both shoes are broken so this was a life saver and wallet saver since I already have webbing. My webbing doesn't have a buckle though so I just tied a double figure eight on a bite and used that loop to cinch it tight. Thanks again.
