Great videos. I just started my channel a couple months ago and I use a bicolor Mount Dog soft box with a couple tiny LED lights as a fill light and hair light. But I just ordered the GVM RGB panels.
Nice! I'd love to upgrade to panels mainly for convenience but just feel I can justify the cost right now. Thanks for watching and good luck with your channel!
I find the inner reflection better on the mount dog better than the Newerr. Also the bulb plug quality is an important issue for me more than the clasp or screw tighteners. Thanks for the review.
You made me feel a bit better for buying the mount dog led but I will say, I had to modify the switch. That pop you talk about is a short waiting to happen. I got the led version with remote, are dimmable and adjust color range. Works great for what I’m doing.
Thanks for sharing your review. I only have one mini Neewer CN 160 light on my own tripod that I use for evening filming along with some other home torch lamps. I’ve been debating which lighting set to upgrade to and had been looking at switching to Mount Dog. You’ve helped me with my decision and I want to stick with Neewer. Thanks for sharing this great review!
So glad I could help!!! They definitely are not the most convenient to put up and down and take up more space than I’d like but the Neewer for sure gets the job done for the price!
Hi, you need to switch off the ambient lights/house lights as they’re a different colour temperature and gives a mixed lighting effect which is not very pleasing to the eye.
I’m really new to lighting so I can’t say for sure. But my guess is it’ll depend on how big the room you are in and how much other natural light is in there, like windows. I had no problem returning it to Amazon though. Just keep all the packaging until your sure. Hope that helps some!!!
