In today's video, I am wrapping the OEM woodgrain with piano black vinyl. Additionally, I wrap random parts in suede for our project "Budget VIP GS300".
Tools:
Vinyl wrap (color or design of your choice)
Isopropyl alcohol (or your choice of cleaner)
Heat gun (optional)
Spray adhesive
Suede
Patience

It's just black vinyl. You can get it on ebay or Amazon. I got mine on ebay.

Is it possible! Depending on the dashboard, the contours will dictate how easy or how difficult it will be.

I'm in Atoka TN (outside of Memphis TN). I do not have the capability to do the entire dash. That will require stitching (upholstery) work that surpasses my abilities.

Yes, I will cover that in the reinstall video. There are 2 ways to do it, drop the sunroof or do it while it's in the car. I dropped the sunroof but I will show how to do it in the car.

Ok. Take the headliner down, measure the sunroof cover, cut the width of your fabric as close to perfect as you can, but give yourself about 3 to 4 inches extra on the length... that's so you can feed it past the metal bar. Now, spray the adhesive on the cover only!! Once you get the front and sides lined up and you have fed that excess past that bar, start to press it on. Once you are happy with the fitment, peal it back and add the adhesive on both surfaces. Not too much to where it is wet but more like tacky. Then, put it back up, then trim the excess. It doesn't have to be 100% perfect on the sides and the back, but you want the front as close to perfect as you can get it. I hope that helps!
